         <description><![CDATA[<p>I noticed Lucky was attached to a rope in the video. I can not remember reading that in the text from page 1395. So I did not realize that before now. </p><p><br/></p><p>*edit*</p><p>(I re-read now, and see that a tug of the rope is mentioned twice a bit later in the text) </p><p><br/></p><p>It was however, not clear to me that the rope was a noose around Lucky's neck, as it was depicted in the performance in the video.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>two men waiting on someone they only know by a name, which may or may not be his real name. A risk of a potential miracle or danger.</p><p><br/></p><p>It was mentioned in the text by Marjorie Perlof, that when Beckett and his family fled from Paris to the south of France, they would never know if it was a friendly villager or a Nazi on patrol. </p><p><br/></p><p>Because of this, could it be that Estragon and Vladimir don't know if they are waiting for a savior or an enemy? I am not certain if this makes sense, but it seems we don't know who Godot. The counter argument to this, is that Godot seems to generally be perceived to be god. It was just a thought.</p>]]></description>
