I noticed Lucky was attached to a rope in the video. I can not remember reading that in the text from page 1395. So I did not realize that before now.

(I re-read now, and see that a tug of the rope is mentioned twice a bit later in the text)

It was however, not clear to me that the rope was a noose around Lucky's neck, as it was depicted in the performance in the video.

I noticed that watching the play allow us to visualize more easily the reactions and actions of each character. The way Lucky moves during his monologue highlights even more his madness. it's not particularly described in the (written) play.

Why to Vladimir and Estragon have to listen to Pozzo and do what he says? Do they fear him?

Lucky is an absurdist in this play who has accepted life has no meaning while the other are foolish to this notion and are still trying to give their life meaning by repeating useless tasks like waiting for godot.

I think that pozzo and the redt were hearing hearing gibberish because they cant accept that facts, thats why pozzo was covering his head and vladimir and estragon were running around

Vladimir and Estragon can depict the human condition, regarding the state of the world at the time. They are stuck in that harsh reality, where nothing is guaranteed, in a blinding routine where they somehow try to find a way to move forward.

two men waiting on someone they only know by a name, which may or may not be his real name. A risk of a potential miracle or danger.

It was mentioned in the text by Marjorie Perlof, that when Beckett and his family fled from Paris to the south of France, they would never know if it was a friendly villager or a Nazi on patrol.

Because of this, could it be that Estragon and Vladimir don't know if they are waiting for a savior or an enemy? I am not certain if this makes sense, but it seems we don't know who Godot. The counter argument to this, is that Godot seems to generally be perceived to be god. It was just a thought.
