         <description><![CDATA[<p>A student, Adithan Arunachalam, studied at KC High in Chennai, India. He completed his International Baccalaureate Diploma. Two years before that, he received the Cambridge International Certificate of Education Award with Distinction for passing his IGCSE program with seven A*s and one A. Adithan Arunachalam was also a National Merit Scholarship Finalist with a PSAT score of 1500 out of 1520. His SAT score was 1560 out of 1600.</p><p>While studying at KC High, Adithan Arunachalam was co-founder and co-president of the school’s debate club. He organized and led weekly discussion sessions and taught debating skills to a club that included 25 percent of all his high school’s students. He also participated in the World Scholars Cup competition with two other school members. They competed in debates, quizzes, and collaborative writing challenges. They excelled in their local rounds, placed first in South Asia in the global round, and secured a finalist spot in the finals at Yale University. Adithan Arunachalam received 15 medals in the competition, the highest on his team.</p><p>Proficient in computer science and IT systems infrastructure, Adithan Arunachalam volunteered at KC High’s systems administration department during the COVID-19 pandemic. He handled systems administration tasks and helped school staff migrate to UBUNTU laptops.</p><p>Adithan Arunachalam also took part in athletics. He was captain of the high school cricket team and a senior member of the soccer team. He organized practice sessions, mentored junior players, and devised match strategies.</p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
