Of course, I appreciate those that were done by my favorite painter—van Gogh, but for the others, not that much. I see its beauty, but not its being a fine art. I appreciate them, but not on a deeper level. Whenever I go on museum trips, I would only spend a few seconds looking at paintings. 
 
However, when I started taking up this module, I did not only appreciate painting for how they were presented, but of course, I enjoyed looking at it more. Because of the knowledge that I got from the module, now I am able to identify the subject of the painting. Now I know the elements presented in the painting—its style, how the painter used the space, the texture, lines, color, and value. After the module, I now appreciate the principles of design that was followed in the painting, and more. Analyzing paintings became an interesting activity after the module.
 
Now, I do not think that Miss Leynes needs to discuss more of it because she almost showed us everything. She even shows us the artworks that she’s seen in its actuality. I think I would just like us to discuss more about my favorite painter’s life—Vincent van Gogh’s. Although we’ve already briefly tackled his artworks, I think it would really be amazing if his life were discussed in class. I would also like to know more about the contemporary fine arts and how they can be classified nowadays, especially when artists are now influenced by different eras and artists

I did not really appreciate sculptures as I only see them as installations made by artists. I did not really know how to appreciate them, especially if I do not have any background about what the sculpture is all about. Even if the title of the sculpture shows what the subject of the sculpture is, I still would not know which part of the sculpture I should focus on. It may be embarrassing to say, but before, I really used to think of sculptures as boring artworks, especially abstract ones. (Shame on me, I know) I did not really know how to appreciate sculptures with actual representations of people, or animals, or things that we actually encounter in real life. What more with abstract ones, right? But then all of these changed when we started taking up this module in Fine Arts class.

I know that we are supposed to appreciate Fine Arts as it is. Its beauty. But then after taking up the Sculpture Module in Fine Arts class, I learned how to appreciate the beauty of sculpture more. I learned the forms, the elements and principles of art. I learned how to identify the subject, the materials and how it corresponds with the techniques used, the space and value, the texture, the lines, shapes, and colours used in the artwork, the emphasis and subordination that can be seen in the subject, how the artwork is balanced, its scale and proportion, the rhythm, the dynamics and movement, the contrast, and most especially, the harmony of the elements and principles used in the sculpture. 

I learned how the sculpture is a representation and an imitation of life in the form of Fine Arts. I learned the different styles of sculpture such as: Renaissance, Baroque, Roman, Archaic, Hellenic, and Hellenistic style of sculpture. I also learned how the sculptures were also used by the church as a form of evangelization. Also, in the Roman period, they used sculpture as a form of propaganda. 

I get to appreciate the art of sculpture now, even with the abstract ones. Now, I know how to look at the subject and appreciate its beauty because of all the things I learned from this module.

Now that I know all of these, I would like to know more about Philippine sculpture. Especially the ones we see in our provinces. In the Cordillera region, for example.
