Upon arrival, EMS found a male subject, Rod Kimble, involved in a failed stunt jump while riding a motor "Bicycle" going 20 MPH. The subject attempted to clear a van using a ramp; however, the ramp collapsed mid-jump. Rod was launched over the van and struck the opposite ramp with significant force, colliding on his side.

The subject was wearing a helmet, which appeared intact. He was conscious but disoriented, reporting nausea and vomiting shortly after the crash. Initial assessment revealed mild to moderate pain in his ribs and right leg, with abrasions to the face and forearms. Swelling was noted around the ribs, and the subject was experiencing labored breathing, consistent with rib contusions.

Vital signs were stable: BP 130/85, HR 110, SpO2 96% on room air. Rod continued to vomit intermittently and rated his pain at 7/10. He was immobilized on a spine board as a precaution.

Rod remained in good spirits despite his injuries, joking with EMS personnel. No immediate signs of concussion or other life-threatening injuries noted, though further evaluation was advised.
