I was going over on my own and staying with them so I needed to make sure I had the right means to contact my family should an emergency arise. There was costs of flights, connecting flights from Los Angeles to Houston, ensuring I had emergency money in case I had to find other accommodation, how I would get to and from the airport in America, if I'm in a dangerous situation how can I contact my family. I had made sure I had all the details of my trip printed such as where I was staying and flight numbers etc left them with my parents for reassurance (I was 22 when I went over). Plan start looking for cheap flights now for next year, book flights and accommodation. Sticking within the budget. But also putting small amount of money each week for food car hire and shopping.

Firstly I need to make sure I can have the time off work and will I need to take leave with-out pay. If so this will effect how long I can go for due to the costs of the trip.
I need to consider the money needed for 1 month away, the costs of flights, travel within Europe, cost of spending while there - accommodation, travel, food, drinks, shopping, other entertainment. Also factoring in the time needed in each country and accommodation options as July is busy so I will need to book it soon.
