         <description><![CDATA[<div>Newtons first law, also known as the law of inertia, states that an object at rest will remain at rest and an object in motion will remain in motion unless another force acts on it.<br>There are many forces that may stop a motion at rest on Earth such as gravity, friction, and air resistance. However, if an object was moving in a space without all these forces, it would move forever in the same direction.<br>An example of this law in our daily lives could be that when we set down a mug it doesn't move.</div>]]></description>
