- Many of New Zealand’s unique animals such as the Moa, Haast’s Eagle and Bush wren are now extinct.
- New Zealand isn’t as natural as it use to be ever since humans have occupied and ruled the land.
- The first settlers of New Zealand are “Polynesians” and at that time Abel Tasman decided to name New Zealand “Nova Zeelandia”
- New Zealand is now a lot more civilised and occupied with houses and buildings. 

Summary: Old New Zealand was a complicated mess, many of the children around that time were scared to even go to school because of the massive and terrifying free-roaming animals. The land never truly belonged to the Māoris as the British colonised the land and to this day New Zealand still partially belongs to the British Empire.
