Positive:

Great interactions with the classroom, successfully got everyone to participate, and made everyone comfortable enough to engage in asking questions & responding to questions. Good lesson plan and structure, overall a great performance.

Improvements:

There were a couple of times a student asked spontaneous questions and could've been dealt with more effectively.

Considering the EAL student try to incorporate more low-key behaviours/gestures such as hand signals, repeated instructions and simpler English.

Positive -

Provided positive encouragement throughout the lesson.

I enjoyed the way you repeated instructions and showed what each step should look like explicitly.

Consistent use of students' names showed preparedness and care for each student.

Improvements -

Due to the lesson being guided, it took away the opportunity to explore and create their design.

I noticed you spent a lot of time at the front of the class. Maybe whilst the students are following the instruction, or in the process of doing them to walk around a bit more and ask the students individually if they need anything. This is only a minor concern, as you did quite well to still check up on their progress and wait for everyone to be caught up.
