Morrie just kind of teaches that money can't solve everything although it Is important and how the value of communication and love is always needed.

oh absolutely. heavy on the death part i think. i feel like everyone thinks of death as a looming thing and how scary it is, but this book shows death in a different light. i don't feel as strongly about it as i used to (because it's so scary and of course, like anyone i was scared about it haha) but now i view it with a different pov. also i definitely think this book has really changed my pov on friendship as well. my friends already mean everything to me but after reading our pages, i always think about my friends and start to text them because this novel really makes you think about the long lasting bonds you have with people (this sounds so corny but its true LOL)

you can take it two ways: #1 is that gazelles are graceful and are considered sometimes as wise animals and morrie is known to be very wise, caring, etc. like how gazelles are portrayed. but you could also take it as that now, morrie is weaker and more frail, compared to many others, like how gazelles are in the animal kingdom.
