Obviously, not all equipment can be called capital. Capital is the equipment and structure used to produce goods and services. For example, my mother bought a washing machine last year and used it herself. It must not be the capital. But if my aunt opens a laundry and she buys ten washing machines for commercial use, they can be called capital. In short, the best way to identify whether a device is capital is to check whether it is put into commercial use.
