At least 144 dead and 732 injured in an earthquake in Myanmar and Thailand. It was a 7.7 magnitude earthquake. The largest earthquake ever was a 9.5 magnitude in 1960. This quake flattened skyscrapers and made a lot of people go missing. Bangkok, a city over 600 miles away from the earthquake experienced violent shakes and had significant damage.

There was an earth quake that accrued in Myanmar which injured 732 and 144 found dead. It was in Thailand when two plates shifted destroying many homes and building that people lived and worked in. Many people had gone missing because of this earthquake and the building had flattened. Bangkok which is hundreds of miles away felt some of the shakes and bumps that earthquakes have.

The earthquake triggered a collapse of buildings hundreds of miles away. Athourites are racing to rescue 81 people who are believed to be trapped under the rubble.

Utah has become the first state to ban fluoride in public drinking water. Fluoride strengthens teeth and reduces cavities by replacing minerals lost during normal wear and tear. Lawmakers who pushed for the ban argued that fluoride in water was too expensive. Almost two-thirds of Americans have fluoride in their drinking water and fluoride in drinking water has been considered one of the greatest public health achievements of the century. However, some cities have gotten rid of fluoride and more are considering doing the same because high levels of fluoride could pose a risk to the intellectual development of children

A couple of days ago, four US soldiers went missing in their vehicle while on a scheduled training exercise near Pabrabe, Lithuania. The soldiers were based in Fort Stewart before they went missing on Tuesday. The Army has said they found the 70-ton vehicle submerged in 15 feet of water and mud in a training area. Unfortunately, the army still could not find the soldiers and are still searching. The army will continue to dig in the mud/water even through the horrible conditions, and hopefully, they will recover our missing soldiers.

a doctor accused of trying to kill his wife on a hiking trail, said to hit her head 10 times with a rock and tried to inject her with syringes before a witness intervened. A witness said she was taking a selfie with her husband. She wasn't comfortable being close to the edge so she backed away and he pushed her into the bushes. It was seen that he was hitting her in the head with a rock 10 times in the back of her head while smashing her face into the ground. Then attempting to use 2 syringes on her, Gerhardt 46, was arrested and charged for second degree attempt murder.

Hundreds of protests at Tesla showrooms are planned across the US and internationally on Saturday. Organizers have dubbed it Tesla Takedown’s Global Day of Action, the latest and largest in a series of demonstrations that began shortly after Donald Trump was inaugurated. Organizers say the rallies will take place in front of more than 200 Tesla locations worldwide, including nearly 50 in California alone.

The protesters’ goal is to send a message to the Trump administration that they’re against what the Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, is doing with the US federal government – laying off thousands of workers, cutting department budgets, giving fascist salutes and getting rid of entire agencies.

“Nobody voted for this, and nobody voted for Elon,” said Vickie Mueller Olvera, who has been organizing Tesla Takedown protests in the Bay Area. “He’s an unelected super-billionaire and he’s a thug.”
