Need to engender a genuine level of passion and enthusiasm in students that they can convey at interview - trying to get them to find what they feel excited about and interested in.

Resilience and agency are key attributes that we need to foster in students. 

Need to let them see that they are not bound to a single profession but can pursue different career paths and enthusiasm.

Need to provide a safe space of sorts for students to engage in risk-taking and learning - to make mistakes without feeling compromised or that they have failed in some way.

Some students seem ill prepared for the level of independence and initiative demanded in the workplace. Need to recover from their 'mistakes' and learn to negotiate with others.
