Hey guys! I’m Muhammad Alif Danial, but you can just call me Alip or Alif, whatever feels right. I’m from BBST Sepang and I used to study at SDAR. Right now, I’m diving into engineering at CFS IIUM, which keeps me busy but I love the challenge. When I’m not studying, I like to stay active—ping pong, futsal, or hitting the gym are my usual go-tos in the evenings. I’m pretty quiet at first, but I’m super friendly once you get to know me, and I love meeting new people and having fun, chill vibes. I like keeping things simple, enjoying small moments, and just living life at my own pace. Oh, and if you want to follow some of my random adventures or daily life, my Instagram is alifdnl_0. Stick around, it’s gonna be fun!

My number:0192938440

This week, I attended my first Usrah session, and it was an amazing experience. When I arrived, all the members gathered together, and everyone, including our Naqib, introduced themselves. It was a great way to get to know each other, and I immediately felt welcomed. I learned each person has different backgrounds, studies, and hobbies, which made the session lively and interesting. The introductions helped break the ice, and I realized that building a strong, supportive community is really important in Usrah.

After the introduction, our Naqib started teaching us about adab, or proper manners, for seeking knowledge. He emphasized respect, patience, and sincerity, and explained how having the right intention can make learning more meaningful. I learned that listening carefully, asking questions politely, and reflecting on what we learn are essential parts of adab. It really opened my eyes to how knowledge isn’t just about studying but about nurturing humility and good character.

Later in the night, we attended a Friday night ibadah camp. It was full of ceramah where we learned and reflected, and we even had qiamullail at 4 a.m., which was challenging but spiritually rewarding. Afterward, we continued the ceramah until 11 a.m., then worked on our group presentation about helping the poor using Canva and a planner. The whole experience taught me the importance of knowledge, teamwork, and applying what we learn to benefit others.

In week 3 of Usrah, our Naqib focused on the first three articles of faith. He explained belief in Allah, emphasizing His oneness, mercy, and wisdom. Then, he talked about angels, highlighting their roles as Allah’s messengers who record our deeds and guide us. Lastly, we discussed the holy books, understanding their importance as guidance for humans and how they connect us to the prophets’ teachings.

During the session, he encouraged us to reflect on how these beliefs affect our daily life, from our intentions to our actions. I realized that truly understanding these three pillars helps me feel closer to Allah and reminds me to live consciously, be kind, and act responsibly. I felt motivated and inspired to strengthen my faith, be more patient, and apply what I’ve learned in practical ways, not just in theory. The discussion left me with a deep sense of peace and a clearer purpose in practicing Islam.

In week 4 of Usrah, our Naqib continued with the last three articles of faith. First, we discussed belief in the prophets, learning about their roles in delivering Allah’s message and guiding humanity. Then, we studied the Day of Judgment, reflecting on accountability for our deeds and the importance of living a righteous life. Finally, he explained Qada’ and Qadar (divine destiny), helping us understand that everything happens by Allah’s will and wisdom, which teaches patience and trust in Him.

During the session, I thought deeply about how these beliefs shape my actions and mindset. I felt inspired to be more responsible, make better choices, and trust Allah in all matters. Understanding these pillars gives a sense of purpose and direction in life, reminding me that faith is not just about rituals but also about living consciously and positively. The session left me feeling reflective, motivated, and determined to strengthen both my knowledge and character.

So, in the second session, our Naqib continued from the previous meeting and talked more about Hadith Jibril. He explained its meaning deeply, showing us how it teaches the responsibility of being a good servant of Allah. After that, he asked each of us to reflect on what good deeds we can do—not just for other humans, but also for animals and the environment. He reminded us that as insan, we have a duty to care for everyone and everything around us. Simple actions like helping others, being kind to animals, and protecting nature all count, and they shape us into better people. The session left me reflecting on how every action, big or small, can positively impact the world around us and help us grow as mindful, responsible insan.

Alhamdulillah, today Group 4 had the chance to present and discuss about seeking knowledge together with Shahrul, Airel, Fahrin and Alif. We reminded ourselves that knowledge is not only about gaining information, but also about building good character, discipline and sincerity. Seeking knowledge requires adab towards teachers, respect for classmates, and humility in learning. As students, we must remember that every step in our journey of ilmu brings us closer to becoming better individuals. May Allah bless our efforts and make knowledge a light that guides us in dunya and akhirah.

We kicked off the first session of the semester by revisiting the core foundations of our faith: Niat (Intention), Amal (Action), and Ihsan. Our Naqib emphasized that every deed must begin with a sincere heart to reach the level of Ihsan—performing worship as if we see Allah, or knowing He sees us. A major part of our discussion focused on the quality of our Solat. It was a wake-up call to realize how many of us perform prayer incorrectly because we aren't "strict" enough with the fundamental rules (Hukum). We learned that without adhering to the proper technicalities and discipline, our prayers may lack the spiritual impact intended.

Our second session took place at Jurjani LRB 20, where Naqib Harris shared deep insights into the Five Pillars of Ibadah. We discussed how Zakat, Fasting, and Hajj are not just obligations, but tools for self-growth; for instance, Zakat purifies our wealth while Fasting builds discipline and empathy for the poor. Naqib reminded us that on the Day of Resurrection, we will be questioned individually about how we spent our lives. Therefore, the ultimate goal of our Ibadah is to seek Barakah (Blessings). By seeking Allah’s favor, we gain peace of mind and ensure that our daily efforts bring us closer to Him.

This week’s session was focused on a very detailed and comprehensive review of our daily worship. We started the session by finalizing our work, making sure to update every single week in our portfolio and documenting all the lessons we have gathered so far this semester. The main discussion was a deep dive into the technicalities of purification and prayer. We covered everything from the valid conditions and pillars of Tayammum and Wuduk to the specific requirements of Solat. It was a complete guide where we looked at the exact counts and methods for each action, ensuring that we do not miss any small details that could affect the validity of our worship.

In addition to the physical steps, we also talked extensively about the ways to achieve Khusyuk during prayer. We learned that true focus comes from understanding the recitations and being mindful of our connection with the Creator. This session felt very complete because it combined the practical laws with spiritual advice. By the end of the class, I felt much more confident in my understanding of these basics. Updating my portfolio with all these details helped me realize how much growth has happened over the weeks, shifting from just performing rituals to truly understanding the purpose and the correct way to execute them.

Usrah today started at 2.25 and we were just chilling, talking about morality and khushu’ in prayer, based on Surah Al-Qiyamah. We discussed how one big reason people don’t pray is because deep down they don’t fully believe in the truth and the Hereafter. But honestly, prayer does a lot for us—it builds obedience to Allah, sincerity, discipline, and forces us to do muhasabah. It keeps us grounded, teaches self-restraint and modesty, and when we make sujud, it really hits that we’re nothing without Allah and fully dependent on Him. From there, iman grows naturally and it helps shape a strong, balanced Islamic personality.
