Act 1: He goes to Theseus (The Duke) to help solve his problem of Hermia trying to marry Lysander, instead of Demetrius the one that he deems fit to marry Hermia

Hermia is the daughter to Egeus and lover to Lysander. Who still pursues Lysander as he is turned against her due to the work of a love spell. In the end ending up with Lysander.

Act 1: Hermia is brought by Egeus to Theseus and is being forced to marry Demetrius. She denies, saying that she will marry Lysander because she truly loves him. Although she has to make a decision, marry Demetrius (The man her father wants her to marry), become a nun, or die.

After Lysander and Hermia are alone make plans to run away into the forest, to go to Lysander's aunt's home to where they will be able to get married. They tell this plan to Helena (Demetrius's ex lover).

Act 2: As they are in the forest Lysander reveals to Hermia that they are lost. This results in them sleeping in the forest. Lysander wants to sleep side by side although Hermia denies it and forces him to sleep away from him. In the end, sleeping apart from one another.

Act 3:

Lysander is Hermia's lover. He is wanting to get married to Hermia although isn't able to due to her father's wishes of wanting her to be married to Demetrius. While he is alone with Hermia creates the plan to run away to his aunts house to get married. Essentially wanting to run away with Hermia so they can be together. During this plan Lysander is placed under a love spell by Puck (Robin Goodfellow) who thought it was Demetrius the person Oberon wanted initially to be placed under the spell to love Helena. After fighting with Demetrius and Hermia about loving Helena he is decieved by Puck and is enevitably tired out. With them falling asleep Lysander's love spell is lifted and returns to loving Hermia, thinking that all was just one big dream they shared. In the end is married to Hermia along side the other 2 couples.

Demetrius

Demetrius is a man who had past affairs with the maiden, Helena. This did not work out and left Helena with a one sided love. Demetrius is now wanting to be wedded to Hermia and is supported by her father Egeus who is trying to force her into the marriage. When Demetrius goes into the forest and falls asleep he is placed under a love spell and loves Helena. Even when he leaves the forest is still under the spell and stays in love to Helena, who he marries in the end.

Act 1: Demetrius is following Egeus and Hermia, watching and waiting for Theseus to approve of his betrothal to Hermia.

Due to being a Duke he is influential in all of Athens, which caused Egeus (Hermia's Father) to come to him to force Hermia to marry Demtrius instead of Lysander

Oberon

Oberon is the king of the fairies. He wants the Indian boy who Titania the queen of the fairies is keeping under her wing. He makes the plan of using the flower struck with cupids arrow and placing it on her eyes to infatuate her with something to distract her from the boy so he can have her. After she is placed under the love spell she relinquishes the boy to Oberon. He is not satisfied with the boy in the end only wanting Titania's attention, he then releases Titania from the spell and makes amends with her. In the end Titania and him head to the triple wedding to bless the lovers.

Titania

Titania is the queen of the fairies. She is arguing with his significant other, Oberon, who wants to take the Indian boy entrusted to her by one of her followers but most importantly close friend. She is placed under a love spell and falls in love with Nick Bottom, a man who's head was turned into a donkey by Puck (Robin Goodfellow). She then gives Oberon the boy he so desperately wanted and pays more attention to Nick Bottom. She is then released from the spell and forces Oberon to tell her everything that had happen as they went to the triple wedding to bless the lovers there.

Puck (Robin Goodfellow)

Puck or other wise known as Robin Goodfellow is a trickster of a fairy who is working under Oberon the fairy king. He is tasked with the job to find the flower struck with cupids arrow and placing it on Titania's eyes. He is also given another task to place it on top of Demetrius's eyes as well but is confused with Lysander. This results in both Lysander and Demetrius falling in love with Helena and Titania falling in love with Nick bottom whos head is that of a donkey. In the end Titania and Lysander are relieved of the love spell and fall back in love with their respective significant other. Leaving Demetrius in love with Helena. He then follows Titania and Oberon to bless the triple wedding at the end of act 5.

Nick Bottom

Nick bottom is a part of a group of people who plan a play for the marriage of Thesus and Hippolyta. They plan the play "Pyramus and Thisbe" a play where both the lovers die. They all decide to practice in the forest. This is where Nick bottom's head is turned into a Donkey by Puck. He is then persuaded into dating Titania. Being casted away after she was lifted from the spell. In the end preforming badly in the play for Theseus and Hippolyta.
