The character I chose is Arthur "Boo" Radley. Boo Radley is the outcast character of To Kill A Mockingbird. He constantly stays inside his home, and is thought to be murderous. Many people of Maycomb county, the city where Boo Radley lives, believe that he stabbed his father with a pair of scissors while scrapbooking. In the end Boo Radley is the man that saves Scout and Jem from Mr. Ewell, who is trying to kill them.

He was still holding my hand and he gave no sign of letting me go.
“Will you take me home?”(Lee, 652)

                Evidence

This quote proves that even though Boo Radley is believed to be a killer, he is in reality, a gentle, kind man. He asks scout to take him home. In this scene Mr. Arthur Radley doesn't wish to let go of Scouts hand when he was to go home.

“Know what’d happen then? All the ladies in Maycomb includin‘ my wife’d be knocking on his door bringing angel food cakes. To my way of thinkin’, Mr. Finch, taking the one man who’s done you and this town a great service an‘ draggin’ him with his shy ways into the limelight—to me, that’s a sin. It’s a sin and I’m not about to have it on my head. If it was any other man, it’d be different. But not this man, Mr. Finch.” (Lee, 648)

Evidence
In this scene, we find out that Mr. Arthur Radley killed Bob Ewell. Mr. Heck Tate believes that it is wrong to publicly announce how Mr. Radley has killed Mr. Ewell, due to his shy timid nature. We learn in this scene also, that Mr. Radley cares for the children, and as we have read, will even kill to save those children.

“ It was obvious that he had not followed a word Jem said, for all Atticus said was, “You’re right. We’d better keep this and the blanket to ourselves. Someday, maybe, Scout can thank him for covering her up.”
“Thank who?” I asked.
“Boo Radley. You were so busy looking at the fire you didn’t know it when he put the blanket around you.” (Lee, 172)

Evidence
In this scene there is a great house fire, and both Scout and Jem watch. During this fire, Scout has a blanket placed on her. She has no clue who gave it to her, but Atticus says that it was Mr. Boo Radley. This shows us that even though the children have done many rude things to him and his family, he is kind to them and makes sure the children are safe in their time of need.

Searching is a movie about a 15 year old girl who goes off to an academy for high school. In this movie, the girl (Margot) goes missing on her very first day of school. Margot's dad tries to find her, and is told during his investigation that Margot is dead. Later on, we find out that the officer who led the investigation was covering her sons tracks on Margot's death. In this movie, the officers son creates an account on this live streaming website, and catfishes Margot, getting her to believe he was some girl, and that his family had cancer. Margot is so caring that she tricks her dad into giving her $2,500, then virtually sends that money into the boys bank account. He then finds Margot, and tries to explain everything to her. All he remembers next, is pushing Margot into a very deep, narrow ravine.

This relates to the book because this is a major plot twist. In the book, Boo Radley is seemed as a bad person but turns out to be very sweet, kind, and caring. In the movie, the officer's son is thought of as a fragile, good kid. In reality he tricks people and of course, pushes Margot into a ravine.
