I believe that the tale is in third person because in the Classic Fairy Tales book, the king and queen are referred to in third person. An example of this is "Day after day they would say to each other:" Another reason why I believe that the tale of Sleeping beauty is in third person is because the narrator also refers to the wise women in third person. An example of this is "There were thirteen wise women in all," The reason why I believe the narrator is omniscient is because the narrator knows the thoughts of multiple characters, like the king and queen, and Sleeping Beauty.
