A complete nasi kerabu is a complex dish involving various components which are the rice, herb salad, a coconut and fish relish, a spicy sambal sauce or two and various condiments, each an elaborate recipe on their own if you were to make them from scratch: salted duck egg, keropok ikan (fish cracker), solok lada (stuffed green chilli) and fried fish or chicken.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Lontong traditionally made by Malaysian <em>nasi himpit</em> (lit. "pressed rice") and coconut milk based soup. There are lot of version of this lontong. But this version filled with vegetables (carrot, bean, cabbage and potato). Just like rice, the taste of <em>lontong</em> is bland and neutral, it depends on other ingredients to give taste through spices and sauces. Commonly, <em>lontong</em> serves as the compact alternative of steamed rice. It can be served with almost any traditional dish recipes as staple food, but mostly have <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peanut_sauce">peanut sauce</a> or <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coconut_milk">coconut milk</a>-based soup. Usually, Malay Javanese or Malaysian have this&nbsp;during breakfast and special occasion (Hari Raya). </div>]]></description>

Nasi lemak is rice cooked using coconut milk and served with various side dishes such as anchovies, eggs, sambal, cucumber, beans and fried chicken.
