During my secondary school years, as a student, I feel that the school I attended to in terms of both staff and students attending was rather homogenous. Only 1 or 2 students were migrant students while all teachers and staff were maltese

Lately more schools are including in their mission statement that they are "inclusive"; however to what extent are they being "INCLUSIVE"?
My opinion is that this word is being used to give impression that the school is updating their way of education etc... but i think there's a lot more to be done before we can 'advertise' that the school is inclusive.
This chuch school i had experience in was "inclusive" but those students which did not practice Catholic religion were not given an option to practice their religion; students were forced to pray before every lesson starts. Is it a case the school is trying to update their ways and educators are still with the sterotype mind church school = Catholic religion, prayers and mass obligatory?

Is the fact that schools are so slow and hesitant to change...is this a reflection of a school's covert xenophobic attitude?
