         <description><![CDATA[<div>describe -Agriculture is the art and science of cultivating the soil, growing crops and raising livestock. It includes the preparation of plant and animal products for people to use and their distribution to markets.<br>-examples , grain farming , livestock ranching , pastoral nomadism and shifting cultivation&nbsp;<br><br><br>Explaination<br>-Greenhouse gases (GHGs) have different sources within agriculture. The livestock sector alone is responsible for about 44% of human-induced methane (CH4) emissions, 53% nitrous oxide (N2O) and 5% carbon dioxide (CO2). Methane has two main sources:</div><div>the digestive processes in cattle and similar fermentative processes in manure</div><div>rice paddies; where constant flooding of the fields creates similar, anaerobic conditions which favour methane production. Furthermore , the tractors used in farm fields contributes to the 5% of carbon dioxide emissions, this is due to it’s fuel which releases c02 into the atmosphere and causing heat to be trapped by the co2 which results in an enhanced greenhouse effect</div><div>Nitrous oxide is mainly formed during the application of fertilisers rich in nitrogen to fields. It also originates from manure or engines burning fossil fuels. Carbon dioxide originates from the burning of fossil fuel, used to power agricultural machinery. However, these direct emissions from agriculture are comparatively small, only making up about 1% of global, human-induced emissions.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Agriculture leads to enhanced the greenhouse effect such as the cultivation of rice. Firstly, tractors run on fossil fuels which releases Carbon dioxide. Also, the use of inorganic fertilisers increases the amount of the nitrous oxide in the soil. When rain flows through the soil or the soil is ploughed, nitrous oxide is released. Moreover, organic matter such as dead leaves releases methane during decomposition. Decomposition in the rice field is very rapid as there are the high level of moisture in soil. Hence, releasing of Carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide and methane which are the greenhouse gases that will lead to enhanced the greenhouse effect.</div>]]></description>
