The traditional Spain culture with certain peruvians things like the roasted cuy on the table. Also, we believe that The Last Supper is a knowing painting but on that occasion we notice different elements on the table. The presence of a roasted cuy, fruit, corn and juice brings us to be open to interpretation. We are wondering why the painter decided to paint those elements? Maybe he wanted to mix cultures? He could demonstrate that peruvians food is gripping too? We think we will never get to know. Secondly, We get the impression as if the painting was a bold creation because it was opposite to the real painting. The painter could suffer for having painted it. Besides, It seems very subtle because it was painted at the time of the viceroyalty when the Spanish had infused their culture in ours. Maybe it hints what was happening at that time, we mean, a coupling of cultures. Finally, we agree that this painting makes us feel uplifting because it reminds us The Last dinner of leonardo Da Vinci, it has that atmosphere of when jesus has the last dinner with his disciples but with certain peruavian and spanish things. It seems that it is an environment where it is shared with clear dominance by the Spanish.
