He reports to NBC Broadcasting & Sports chairman Mark Lazarus. Since joining the company in 2016, David Preschlack has aided in the development of NBC Sports Regional Networks' first esports tournament, Universal Open: Rocket League, and the launch of the NBC Sports Gold's Blazers Pass direct-to-consumer streaming product. Before joining NBC Sports, David Preschlack served as executive vice president of affiliate sales and marketing for Disney and ESPN Networks Group, where he managed digital distribution and affiliate marketing for 16 Walt Disney Company linear networks as well as its video-on-demand, interactive television, HDTV, and pay-per-view products. Throughout his 21-year career with ESPN, he also held positions such as senior vice president of affiliate sales and marketing and senior vice president of national accounts. David Preschlack holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Denison University and serves on the board of directors for Make-A-Wish Connecticut. He enjoys spending his free time with his family. He met his wife when they were both working for ESPN.
