Have you ever got physically hurt? You always feel the pain when it happens, but it eventually goes away if you go to the doctor. Some people may argue that physical pain is harder to recover from because how much pain it is. People need to realize that it is more difficult to recover from emotional pain because emotional pain can follow you for the rest of your life.

First, emotional pain is hard to recover from because it follows you for the ret of your life. For example, imagine you have a sibling they meant the world to you; you did everything with them, you loved them so much. Then one day you sibling dies now your alone and blaming yourself on how you could've been their for them, but you weren't. Now you have no one to connect too and all you feel is pain in your heart. This comes to show that when someone you love leaves your life you feel alone and are emotionally affected for the rest of your life.

Also, emotional pain is hard to recover from because emotional pain because it follows you for the rest. Put yourself in a person shoes of someone that doesn't know their parents. You go to the mall and you see how little kids are having fun interacting with their parents. Seeing all this is starting too make you think how much you wanted parents too at least love you. This also comes to show that not knowing your parents will be very emotional and it causes pain because you want to be happy with the parents you don't know, but you realize you will never feel that love from your own parents.

In conclusion, it is very hard to recover from emotional pain because emotional pain can follow you for the rest of your life. Just think about how hurt you would be losing someone or not having your own parents. This all comes to show that don't let that pain bring you down you should use that pain and push forward in life to make them proud.

Sample 2- Persuasive Essay Should teachers be able to carry concealed weapons on campus.

Should everybody have a gun? What if teachers had weapons in the class? Will it make the class more safe? Guns and other things are very dangerous and cause people lives. Teachers should not be able to carry concealed weapons on campus because kids can get hold of the weapon and kids will be afraid.

Therefore, teachers should not be able to carry guns because the kids can get hold of the weapon. For example, kids at home can find anything at home. Imagine at school a student see's something shiny in the teachers desk. They are going to eventually try to steal it. Once they still that object which is a gun. They are going to start playing with it. The student accidently pulls the trigger and shoots himself. Since the gun is in your name you are now responsible for that kids death. This shows that teachers with guns puts the class more in danger since kids are very curious. To end off, teachers shouldn't have guns because kids can get hold of it.

Furthermore, teachers shouldn't have kids guns because the kids will now be afraid. A example is since kids know how what weapons do to one individual. Just imagine the fear kids will have with if a gun is in the class room they are in. The kids will be curious and think that the teacher is probably planning on killing one of their classmates. Kids have a lot of imaginations and they are probably imagining the teacher killing one of his/her friends. To conclude, teachers will put fear in kids heart and eyes with weapons in classes.

In briefly, teachers shouldn't be able to carry concealed weapons because kids can get their hands on them ad kids will be very scared. Just think about the kids not just the teachers. Kids are really smart and curious; guns will just bring a bigger conflict in and out of school.

What rhetorical appeal(s) do you think both author's used for the effectiveness of their arguments? Provide textual evidence to support your answer.

The rhetorical appeal that both authors used for the effectiveness of their argument was logos. In the article The controversial Law at the law of the Travon Martin case, it says " the stand your ground defense was used in 93 cases involving 65 deaths and in majority of those cases it worked." This quote shows that logos was used to show how the standyourground law made a effect in Florida and to show many cases and how many deaths there was. The authors want us to learn that the standyourground law made a huge affect and it was just used as an excuse for people to get away with murder.

Cassius is ultimately responsible for turning Brutus' into thinking they should kill Caesar by deception and manipulation. Power of deception and manipulation is used in Julius Caesar by getting people to do things and tell the truth. "Your hidden worthiness into your eye, That you might see your shadow. I have heard. Where many of the best respect in Rome. Except immortal Caesar, speaking of Brutus. And groaning underneath this age's yoke, have wished that noble Brutus had his eyes" (act 1 scene 2). This shows Cassius wants Brutus to join the conspiracy against Caesar, but instead of coming right out and asking him, he tries to get in Brutus's head by suggesting that the people want Brutus to lead Rome instead. The author is trying to tell us that deception and manipulation can cause people to do what you want if its good or bad. Before Cassius came up too Brutus; Brutus was not thinking about Killing Caesar since Caesar was his friend. " If there be any in this assembly, any dear friend of Caesar's to him I say, that Brutus' love to Caesar was no less than his. If then that friend demand why Brutus rose against Caesar this is my answer: Not that I loved Caesar less, but that I loved Rome more" [act 3 scene2]. This shows that the only reason he killed Caesar was to save Rome. Also, Cassius put in his mind that Rome needed saving from Caesar and Brutus was the one that could help do that.
