In the chorus she sings “Some just wants everything But everything means nothing If I ain’t got you,”. This deeply connects to me as I have experienced something very similar to what she’s talking about in this line.

I have chosen these three art pieces because I think they are beautiful and simple. The minimalistic prints convey a peaceful message of three innocent animals as nature themselves.The motion that the animals are the land, the trees and flowers is calming as they are one with nature. I have chosen this prayer written by James MacDonald, because I strongly agree with the message it is trying to convey, the message of love instead of hatred in families and relationships. ‘Love protects, Help me protect those I love by loving them’ is my favorite line in this prayer as it is talking about loving others and protecting them from hatred.

i have chosen the scripture 1 Corinthians 13 4;7 because the message that is sent is all about love and everything that it is, and everyone struggling to be in love needs to know this bible definition of love because its how everyone should love and how everyone should be loved.  this scripture shows that love is something that is not bragged about. and is just between the 2 that experience it, it also shows that even though their may be ups and downs through love none of it is considered evil and no records of wrong doings are kept. this keeps the love long lasting through protection and trust.

i have chosen the scripture proverbs 3 5:6 as this connects to me as it says to trust in the lord, i like this because when things go wrong with family or friends you know you can always have trust in god. it also says "learn not on your own understanding" this means a lot to me as it relates back to my music i have chosen and you need to reach for your goals step up and learn something and not be afraid to fall. i connect to this as i have definitely taken many opportunities failed learnt something from it and continued trying.

This mass welcomes back students from all grades as well as teachers and staff from holidays.I enjoyed accompanying my little sister, one of the communities newest students to the mass.We gathered at the San Damiano,and began with the  acknowledgment of country which I really enjoy because it connects us to the original owners of this land, we then proceed to light the college and aboriginal and torrist straight islander candle which connects Mta as a whole community.We performed 'Franciscan Five' and all prayed in silence and kept anyone who needed an extra thought in our prayers. We then moved into the liturgy of the word which was read by our own Mt Alvernia college students, I enjoyed this as it not only connected me to God it connected me to our college community all at the same time. We then proceed with the prayers of the faithful witch were read by all different aged girls from the school. We then go receive the bread and wine.This liturgy always starts the year off in a positive way no matter what grade you are in it welcomes you back into the community that is Mt Alvernia.This Eucharistic liturgy is always good watch and to be apart of every year as it is great to see so many of the students involved and putting aside their nerves to pray in front of the whole school.  But most of all I enjoy this liturgy as I feel more connected to god after having 8 weeks of holidays and gives you a chance to pray for the people that need it weather they are in school or out of school.
