I was confused in this book as to why Edward who's father is a doctor was very unwilling to got to class when they were finding out their blood type. In my opinion I would have thought he would have waned to go to class because he would have much prior knowledge about blood types and medical conditions. But maybe Edward was just like Bella and fainted at the sight of one drop of blood which would be an explanation as to why he would have skipped that specific class.

Something new in the story line has just suddenly appeared. Jacub a new character was met at a beach party by Bella and for some reason she instantly took to him. So this has made me a bit confused so far because she is so intrigued and interested in Edward. So my question is why out of all the about the beach party could she talk to Jacub. I think one possible answer could be because they have some things n common like how she bought her car from his dad so maybe this spark of conversation is what is making her fall for him. I am excited to see what happens in the future and if she will continue falling for Edward or Jacub.

In this piece of the text it explains how Bella is experiencing some deep internal conflict. Once Bella arrives home she immediately goes upstairs while waving off Charlie (her father). One she goes upstairs she sits in her room and puts on headphones with loud music with the intention of it making it to hard for her to think. But when she goes to sleep she has a dream about Jacob being a werewolf and Edward being a vampire. This makes me believe that what she is dreaming may actually be true in the end or at least for Edward. I believe this because of the weird way Edward acts. For example the time when he made it across the parking lot in a matter of a second to save Bella. Also when he did not want to participate in science the day they tested for their blood type. So in conclusion, I think her dream may become a reality later on in this intriguing story.

In these Pages I saw a new character named Oli introduced. Oliver creates a distraction to the main character because he lives such an adventurous life unlike Madeline who is stuck in her room or her house all day long because of her sickness. I believe he will be a problem causing the character later on in the story when Madeline will start to get a little bit bored at home and want to live the life he has. So all in all he has proven to be a good character so far, he's kind and caring but he doesn't know about her sickness yet so I am wondering how he will act once he knows.

Something that has greatly stood out to me in this portion of text is how great the author is at adding in deatails like how she became close to being depressed or even something as simple as someone's physical character traits. I believe this is very important because it helps the reader to fully understand the characters and therefore the book better. Also the more you understand about the plot or characters the more interesting the book will become to read. So in conclusion I think the author does a beautiful job of hunting in deatails about a character and the interesting plot line

While reading these chapters I saw many actions done by the character that I would have done differently myself. In addition I believe when she chose not to tell Oli about her disease she was building a wall in between them of secrets. I think by making this wall she is not able to let him into her life. Although letting new friends in may be hard for Madeline because of her sickness it still is important for her to make friends like every other teenager so she could avoid depression and sadness. So in conclusion I believe Madeline should share her secret with others especially Oli who she has been talking to very often because of how she will feel more like a teenager and not let her sickness rule her life as much as it does.

While reading my book some struggle has been visible throughout the text between Madeline and her nurse and sometimes Oli. I have been see in this because sometimes she decides not to talk or holds grudges against these people. I can see this when she is around Oli who loves to liv life to the fullest and jump on walls and be insane. Which is something Madeline will never get to experience due to her sad sickness she has been cursed with. So I believe there is not much conflict between the characters but seeing how things are going now in the future these problems will progress and turn into much more than a little annoyance.

While reading the text I am starting to notice a bit of a life lesson that the author is trying to get across. In this book Madeline could become depressed very easily with not being able to go outside and enjoy life like every other teenager in the world. But Madeline finds a way to keep herself busy and keep depression away. So I believe that the life lesson the author is trying to portray is that staying positive even in the darkest situations can help you see the light. I believe this because of how sad Madeline's situation is but she has turned it into an opportunity to become close with her mom and her nurse and better herself.

During my reading of Everything Everything I have noticed something the writer does very well of showing everyones emotions not just the protagonist but who they are focusing on. This is very important because you really want to understand how everyone in a scene is impacted by something that was said or something that has happened. For example when Oli came over but was tuned away by Madeline's mother the author showed how hurt Madeline was and how sorry her mom and her nurse felt at the moment. She showed the sadness through the rest of the awkward dinner experience. So in the final analysis the author has done a beautiful job showing all characters emotions and feelings.

Madeline asked him to not email her and he listened even though she didn't really mean it as much as he though she did. So Madeline was upset that he did not email her but Oli believed he was doing the right thing. So in conclusion, in this book it shows how Oli takes things more literally than emotionally which is the way Madeline expects him to be which isn't the case.

For example in the book they both don't really want to talk about their deep situations they are in. Like how Oils father is mean and an alcoholic and how Madeline can't enjoy the world the way everyone else her age does. So they touch on some of those sad yet important topics but also move on to lighter topics like Oli's obsession with parkour and what he wants to do with his life. So by the end of Oli's visit they had had a good talk about their life struggles and aspirations.

In the book Madeline states "Oli can we just stay friends" when Oli hesitantly replies "ok" with a little pushing from Madeline who insist its best. I am troubled as to why Madeline would want to do this to Oli who clearly likes her than more as a friend. So I would like to know why she has chosen to do this to the one person she has cared about besides her mom and her nurse. So in the final analysis, I believe that Madeline has made the wrong choice in making Oli go away and taking away any of her chance at having a normal life.

In this past few chapters of the book the author has done a beautiful job if describing Madeline emotions which I critical for what was happening. Madeline first has another visit with Oli and he teachers how to do a handstand and touches her ankle which is highly forhibitted. After that they decide not to see each other for a while just to be safe, which I believe was the right choice since that was the first time she has come in contact with someone from outside like that. Then he comes over again where Madeline has her first kiss which is probably the riskiest thing she will ever do so far. Next, while Madeline and her Mom were eating dinner they heard screaming out the window. It was Oli and his (drunk) father fighting in front of the house. Oli got punched in the stomach and Madeline disregarding her others ordered and dashed out of her bubble or house to help him. Her mother grabbed her and dragged her inside where Madeline spilled the truth about knowing Oli as more than just her neighbor. Madeline's mom is furious and fires Carla for not protecting Madeline.

These past few parts have been very exciting and thrilling. I believe this to be the climax of the book because of the intense events. First Madeline mom takes off a week from work to be with her and find a replacement which I believe was a good idea because Madeline was upset enough. Next they found a replacement but it was an old lady who was strict and boring as Madeline describes her in the book. This and the new restrictions like no internet after 3:00pm have made Madeline want to leave her house and see the world more than ever. So one night in the middle of the night Madeline sneaks out of her isolated house and goes to see Oli. She tosses pebbles at his window and when he comes out she tells him how when she was a baby (before she was sick) she went to Hawaii with her whole family. So thats where she now wants to go but on the way make a quick trip to visit Carla. Carla doesn't stop them even when Madeline told her about these experimental pills that actually don't exist but Oli believed it when Carla obviously did not. So in conclusion Madeline just wanted one chance to see the world like everyone else gets too.

In conclusion, this book had an amazing ending that left you wanting more, which is how every good book does ends. When Madeline and Oli arrive in Hawaii it is amazing Madeline is living a normal life and is enjoying it just like everyone else. But she has been feeling her heart beat abnormal, but dismisses it immediately. So on the second day Madeline wakes in the night extremely sick. She believed she was going to die because of the pain and how horrible the conditions were. When they got to the hospital Madeline's mom had arrived and when she was a bit better took her home. While recovering with rehired Carla she received an email. An odd email at least, the doctor from Hawaii had claimed Madeline showed no symptoms of SCID the disease her mother diagnosed her with as a baby. Madeline becomes very curious as does the reader. She at first thinks the doctor just missed something but later has second thoughts and goes into her file in her moms office. After searching all night she finds nothing about SCID. She then confronts her mother who finally broke and told her the truth of how this was all a lie but to protect her from the outside world. Madeline is full of anger and then gets bake her own lab results she had sent a few weeks ago before confronting her mother revealing she doesn't have the disease but a very week immune system because she has never been outside. So the book ends with Madeline leaving her mother to go visit Oli as a surprise in a bookstore in the city he now lives in after him his mom and sister left their father/husband.
