Hamlet is a melancholy, indecisive, cynical and very embittered character from the intrigues of his uncle to seize power. At court Hamlet acts and speaks like a madman, but reveals that he does so deliberately and with a specific purpose. This fake mental illness alarms the uncle, who first tries to find out the causes then, worried about his own life, decides to send away his nephew, entrusting him with a mission without return to England. Hamlet is the center of attention of all the characters of this tragedy. the melancholy of the character does not depend only on the death of the father but also on his existential condition
