1. We use chromebooks, phones, and projectors in the classroom. Some times when we use technology in class it is beneficial to me because when we play games they can help me with my learning.
2. I don't like using technology in all my classrooms everyday. I need a break from it sometimes. I would much rather take written notes than look at a screen. I do like it though when every once in a while we play a kahoot or peardeck because it is special and a nice break from every day learning but it also helps me retain the content.
3. I personally don't like using my phone in class because it can be distracting to me because I will see that I got a text or know that I have to send a text so I then don't concentrate on what activity we are actually doing.

All of these things greatly benefit our learning because we are able to use different resources to understand one concept.
2. I think that using technology can be beneficial but not all of the time in the classroom. I think that it can be beneficial sometimes to use technology to get a new outlook on a topic. However, I still believe that personal interactions can be greatly beneficial in a learning environment.

Chloe, I don't use projectors I primarily use SmartBoards in my classrooms. We use SmartBoards because it is a versatile way to interact the students with the topic being learned.

1.) We use chromebooks, phones, and projectors. Technology benefits my learning because technology can give you practice problems and help reinforce ideas you learned. However, sometimes technology can be distracting because people can play games that are not related to school.
2.) I like using technology sometimes, but it can be distracting at other times. I enjoy using technology to reinforce ideas I learned throughout the week like with online math problems, but I wouldn't want to use technology all day.

Chloe, I don't typically use my phone in my classes because my teachers find phones distracting to learning. I guess it could impact your learning by having activities that relate to the content you are learning in classes which is good.

1. In school, we use chrome books, our phones, and projectors. These tools help students learn because they allow us to learn in different ways and let us be more independent by working at our desks on our own projects.
2. I think technology is beneficial if it's used in moderation, but when we have to use it all the time in all of our classes, it can get boring. I like using it occasionally, but I also like interacting with the teacher and students as well so it's nice when there's a balance.

Rachel, I don't use smart boards because not that many classrooms in high school have them. I do remember using them in elementary school and they were fun to use because you could project information on the whiteboard and then draw over it. Smart boards can definitely be beneficial for learning!

1. chromebooks: allow us to read articles more efficiently. projector: so the teacher can easily demonstrate the lesson. phone: games like kahoot.
2. Sometimes its more beneficial, for example when writing essays or write ups but sometimes its annoying because we use our chromebooks to turn in math homework which is a hassle.

day2:
rachel-- i dont usually see smartboards in my classrooms anymore but i do agree they were beneficial when we were in middle school but Central provides computers that turn into tablets that the teacher can write on that look neater on the projector and are easier for them to use which is good for the students because they are able to keep up with the lesson as the teacher is adding notes to the projector

1. During school we use Chromebooks, cell phones, and projectors. Implementing these learning aids in the classroom allows for students to have more resources when they need help. For instance, looking up things in google when the student is confused or a teacher making a kahoot before a test so they can have extra review.
2. I think it helps but for me personally, I do not like taking summative test or quizzes online because I can not focus.
3. In response to Abbie, now that we have chromebooks I dont usually use my phone that much anymore. Because I like the bigger screen.

Day 1) We use Chromebooks, phones, and projectors in our classroom. A lot of the time, they are used for good and they are extremely helpful when it comes to the classroom setting. Yet sometimes, they can be distracting when it comes to your phones.

Day 2) I think it can be beneficial because it can be less papers to carry or it will be overall easier for some students to understand. It is fast, quick and easy. Unless there is a problem with the Wifi which is a huge point when it comes to the negative aspects of the technology. Another reason why I believe technology shouldn't be the immediate solution to using it in the classroom.

Rachel, typically I really don't use the Smartboard that much in my classroom. We primarily use the projector because it is all on the screen to kids to focus on. with the Smartboard, at least with my class, they would be extremely distracted and off task.

Day 1) In my classroom on a typical day, the types of technology that I see myself using consists of a cellphone, Chromebook, and projectors. I believe that they are used in beneficial ways to a students learning however they do become distractions. A cellphone usually is used by students to snap chat (Social Media or Games) however they are also used as substitutions for Chromebooks if necessary. Projectors are used to display information from your teachers and the Chromebooks engage the students in online lessons.

Day 2) Najiyah, I use the same type of technology as you and would like to say that these specific examples can impact a students learning both positively and negatively. As a positive note, these help engage students in their learning abilities however they do sometimes cause distractions for students that have a hard time focusing. I think that cellphones are not the most beneficial type of technology because they hold a lot of personal things that can cause your attention to shift, however sites aren't blocked on your phones. There really is cons and pros to using technology in the classroom, but I have seen improvements within myself, teachers, and classmates because of it.

1) In school daily, the types of technology most commonly seen used are the chromebooks, cell phones, and projectors. Chromebooks allow students to have access to the internet and online learning tools at all times, which is very beneficial and definitely makes life easier on the students and teachers while being led in an online based activity. Cell phones are used mostly by students while going on social media, but sometimes are used for online learning games such as Kahoot, Peardeck, etc. The projector is used by the teacher in which they can connect their laptops to display the notes or activity being taught and allows students to follow along more easily.
2) I think using technology for the most part is a very beneficial way to engage in active learning. It is a quick and easy tool to have accessible at all times Yet, I do believe they can act as a distraction depending on the task at hand. For example, students turning to work on other classwork while given free reign to complete an activity on their chromebook.
3) Rachel- Smartboards are used in my classroom at the elementary school, and it is very beneficial for the students' learning, and acts similarly to a projector but with more interactive features. Yet, they are not commonly used amongst high school classrooms. The projectors basically function as a smartboard for us.

1-I personally use my Chromebook and my cellphone. They just give students more resources to help them when they completely don´t understand something. Like when they need to cite some sources it is easy for them to find information in articles through the internet. Although using cell phones can be distracting it can also be a quick search up. Like when you need to find the definition of a word you just ask siri and you'll find it in less than 3 seconds.
2- I think it depends on how you use it. Like if you're not doing what you are supposed to the teachers will definitely be able to see it through their Chromebooks. That´s not the point but it can be very helpful to use it because sometimes it is tiring to hand write when you can just type it and it´s neat an easier to clear mistakes.
Day 2- Rachel smartboards are not used in my classroom but I still find it beneficial because like you said you are able to collect more information using this resource .
