" The very idea of throwing away food here was unthinkable, especially eighteen children watching you, waiting for you to finish.

We take our essential items to live for granted many times. For me, I take the longest showers and think water will never run out but some people in parts of the world don't have running water. Reading this part made me think, all the food I take at dinner I never finish and becomes waste. Since this quote I've started to not waste as much that I used to. Also, I started working a soup kitchen helping out serving food to the homeless.

Conor loves the kids and it changed his perspective from just being able to brag that he helped orphaned children but actually be proud of what he did and loved the fact that it changed this life.

Everything I had said I could do could not be done. The children were gone. That was life in Nepal. this packed room of distressed parents told that story every single day.

Gyan gave Conor information on the seven lost children and he found out their was nothing he could do. Conor was loosing hope and feeling terrible. After trying so hard to go on this treck to find them, nobody has seen the children. When I was helping delivering some toiletries to the homeless, one lady asked me if I say her dog and I said no and I know you will find her. Even though I've never seen her dog I know he or she is out there. Conor still believed their some where and he needs to find them.

Seeing that Conor is American and chooses to help out Nepal's trafficked children, people will have various thoughts on why but he cares and wants the best for the kids. Why Rinjin asked him so many different times wonders me because I feel he thinks nobody wants to help their part of the world because their is so many trafficked children out in Humla.
