One of the biggest take aways from this book is its valuable message of sharing and being selfless. The overall big idea of this book is learning to be happy with your differences and don't be something you're not just to fit in. This book shows the struggles of being a black spiderman as well as a tannage boy trying to be a superhero while at the same time live his life. The Quilty of literature throughout this book does a good tying into the main message for the main character to try and figure out who to balancing his responsibilities of being spiderman well taking care of his self as well. The quality of literature throughout this book is very unique with the author creating new slang terms the characters use. Throughout the book she learns she has strengths of her own the set her apart from the other birds. This book does a great job of showing its target audience of young readers the importance of kindness and turning the other cheek.
