He or she should always have an open ear and understanding for his or her students if they have problems (in school or in their personal life). This way, students have the opportunity to get through their school career with much less stress. In addition, teachers should be open to new learning methods. Particularly in the age of digitalization, it is important to be able to embrace new things and, in the best case scenario, incorporate them into lessons. I grew up in a multilingual household in which we spoke German and Russian, while I simultaneously learnt English at school and through the use of social media.
