I was borned in Madrid ( the capital of Spain) and despite being from there I can not say too many things which I like or that I could recommend people who want to visit my city.

Further ahead of my friends, family and a few places which I like there is nothing attractive for me, to live in Madrid again.

However, I like Asturias because of its lovely sceneries and also its weather, which is similar to England.

Asturias is placed in North Spain and it has stunning beaches and mountains. This is something that I love, because I am a sporty person, and I like hiking. Asturias is the perfect place to do so.

Regarding to its history, it counts on an interesting background in terms of paintings from the Paleolitic age and it was conquered for romans, Swabians, Visigoths and Muslims through the past centuries. Due to this fact, Asturias has influences from different cultures which in my opinion makes it more interesting.

Another thing I love from Asturias, is the weather. It is pretty rainy therefore it is so green as the England countryside.

I do not tolerate hot weather very well and Asturias is the perfect place for me to live, because the summer temperature is soft during the day and fresh at nights.

However, summer in Madrid is unbearable. The temperature reaches 45 degrees under shadow which makes sleeping absolutely impossible.

Regards to the local people. They are pretty friendly, honest and kind, and they are qualities I admire on people.

Apart from the things I've already mentioned  about Asturias so far, I also like because is a quiet and place full of nature and  because it reminds me England  some how, and I know when I leave England, I'm going to miss it a lot. So, for me this is a way to keep in touch with the English countryside.
