It has a woman on the poster to indicate the Women’s Land Army, which was when women took over for all the jobs they lost when the men went to war. It was originally in British civilian organization, it helps increase agriculture production which would give food to soldiers and civilians.

This impacted them because if soldiers were constantly getting sick they would have a hard time fighting and some died so they would have to be replaced. It was a long continuous cycle.
