1. My niece who is 9 months old has always hated green beens on their own she wouldn't let us give it to her alone, she would spit it out and just make a huge mess. So we bought a mix of baby food that included green beans and she actually enjoyed it, the next week we gave her green beans alone and she actually enjoyed it. SO a tip I would recommend is to be consistent and don't stop giving them a food they didn't like once, try mixing it with other veggies or try it again and again.
2. I didn't really care for vegetables growing up and even as an adult its not that I didn't like them I just wasn't exposed to a lot of vegetables. it wasn't until I went shopping with my patents to expose myself to a variety of vegetables. Another tip would be to go grocery shopping and see what vegetables they have, you will began to develop a curiosity of how a certain vegetable taste that you end up buying. Mine was bell peppers never cared for them they looked good and now I cannot stop eating them.
3.Be Creative with foods, kids are attracted to color and will eat anything in the shape of a smiley face, I remember my youngest cousin would only eat her vegetables and fruit if they were in the shape of faces because she thought it was something different.

The grandpa exposes Oliver to different vegetables from his grandpas garden, Oliver wanted chips but the grandpa only agreed if he had found the potatoes. Everyday he picked a vegetable thinking they were potatoes and for each one he picked he had to try them even if he didn't like it. This book really shows that exposing kids to a variety of things helps them show interest in different types of food.
