Trump has received high amounts of media scrutiny for his history of derogatory, misogynist comments towards women. Hillary Clinton has emphasized the magnitude of female political participation throughout her campaign including within the emblazoned slogan "I'm With Her."
Conclusion: Based on the graph more women said yes to voting Clinton over Trump. Therefore our hypothesis must be accepted.

  • We hypothesize that as conservative political ideology increases, the support for proposition 106 will decrease. Proposition 106 would make physician assisted death legal among patients with a terminal illness who receive a prognosis of death within six months. We hypothesis this because as support for conservative  ideology increases you’re more likely to be ideologically religious and therefore be less likely to accept medically assisted death.

  • We have found our hypothesis to be true.  The graph above shows that on the lefthand side, which is associated with being strongly democratic, shows there is approximately a 90 percent support for proposition 106. As we decrease in the political ideology to leaning democratic the support drops to approximately 75 percent, so still strong support for the proposition. Independent political ideology still shows strong support for the proposition with a 70 percent support.  Moving on to the republican stance on the proposition we can see a steady decline in support for the proposition as we move more towards strong republican political ideology.  Leaning Republican has a support of about 62 percent and with strong Republican only having 38 percent support.  So this is by far the widest gap within the republican ideology with a 24 percent change between leaning republican and strong republican.

Hypothesis:
The more extremely you support either side (Democrat or Conservative) the more likely you are to believe that the votes for the election will not be counted fairly and accurately. If you are more moderate you will likely believe that the votes are being counted fairly.

Conclusion:
The plot shows us that our hypothesis was not very correct. You can see that Independents are the group most likely to believe that the votes are not being counted fairly. Democrats and strong democrats are the two groups most likely to believe that the votes are being counted fairly. Conservatives are the group that is least likely to believe the votes are being counted fairly.

Hypothesis: Education will have an affect on people's attitude towards fracking. The higher level of education that one obtains, will ultimately increase their awareness of environmental issues and as a result they will not support the use of fracking.

Conclusion: Through collecting data, we have sucessfully concluded that education does in fact have an effect on people’s attitudes towards fracking. As shown through the data, the higher the level on an individual's education, the higher his or hers environmental awareness will be and thus will be likely to oppose fracking.

Conclusion: That hypothesis is true, but not as strongly as we thought because there is still a very significant portion of Republicans that are very interested in politics, just not as significant as the portion of Democrats that are very interested. It is interesting to note that the "other political party" option is there, but very small across the board. The portion of strong Republicans that are not involved is nearly nonexistent. Across the board however, the portion of people that are not interested at all is very small.

Conclusion: The data shows that for those who are most Republican, there is the lowest amount of education. For middle ground on the ideology scale, the amount of education wins the majority. Hypothesis: Liberal ideology will trust the voting more because they are more opened minded and progressive to the current voting processes and new voting technology. 

Conclusion: The data shows the more liberal you tend to be the more trustworthy you are to the current voting process. While the conservative is the opposite. Conservative will not trust the voting process of the current election system. Thus are hypothesis was correct. Liberals are more trustworthy of the voting system. While most people who identify as independent will tend to lean towards either liberal or conservative view on trustworthiness on voting. Since they do not specifically state their political ideology, the results of the data is skewed and do not make sense.

Conclusion: The results of our test reaffirm our hypothesis. More women not only view the economy as fair, but poor as well. Men, on the other hand, seem to view the economy more optimistically. Very few women would rate current economic conditions as excellent, while men are about three times likelier to view it so.
