We all need basic physical needs e.g food, water. However there are preferences within these. So not unique in needing these substances, however unique in consumption.

As we grow, particularly our psychological needs become unique. Some need love and affection more. Some need achievement more. Some need security etc.
Out of 7 billion people it's likely to find someone very similar, but never exactly the same. Our cognition, the way we thread thoughts together is unique. Some apply logic, some apply emotion (objective/empathic).

We have similarities such as we all have the basic needs. But as we grow older, through effects from the environment we develop our own preferences.
For example. We all might like sport but our uniqueness might prefer football, or another person hockey.
So in a sense we are all quite similar - that we all need to be fed/watered/clean/warm etc. But our psychological preferences are unique to an individual's life experience.

Humanists argue that humans are unique however Maslows hierarchy of needs states that everyone needs to fulfil the same set of needs to reach their full potential which would imply we are not unique.
