         <title>Penicillium</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Penicillium, a species of fungi, is a mould that has a destructive effect upon certain types of bacteria as it can create penicillin. This mould does not however, benefit from the death of the bacteria in anyway. It is identified by the greenish, blueish and yellowish spores created with these spores being found everywhere, from the air to the soil.<br><br>Spoilt bread contains the fungi&nbsp;<em>penicillium</em>&nbsp;which creates&nbsp;<em>penicillin.&nbsp;</em>This fungi then destroys the bacteria that is found within the bread.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Amensalism is a type of competition where one organism is inhibited or harmed and the other organism is neither harmed or inhibited. Therefore this relationship is detrimental to one species&nbsp; and for another species, has a neutral effect.<br><br>Amensalism also explains the situation where one organism secretes a poison that kills the other organism. However the organism that secretes the poison remains unharmed.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Examples of Amensalism are tall trees that dramatically reduce the amount of sunlight that reaches the ground beneath it, therefore killing or severely decreasing a species population as the grasses or such plants do not have adequate light to grow.<br><br>Another example is the relationship between the mood penicillium and bread with the bread being the one harmed in the relationship.</div>]]></description>

Due to this, there is an abundance of the spores.&nbsp;<br><br>As for bread it has a very short lifespan due to these spores infecting the bread as once they settle on the loaf, the spore begins to grow.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
