I have used these reports to determine:
  • Was there a question on this quiz that multiple students got wrong? How can I rewrite the question with more clarity?
  • How often do students access the course? Are the students not doing well accessing less often?

After learning more about learner analytics this week, I also see the benefits of collecting the data to reach out to students earlier. If they’re are clear patterns of students who drop out of the program, targeting students who are developing the pattern and providing additional resources to prevent this failure can increase retention and completion rates.
