It's useful (I would even say it's need it) to form a Team for Erasmus+ projects in the school. Even though a lot of the activities need to be done by the Erasmus+ coordinator, the work it's too much for 1 person. By having a Team, responsibilities can be shared according to their strengths (linguistic, computer skills, analysis....) and the whole Team can contribute towards the application planning and later on, if the application is successful, in running all the administrative, logistic and preparation activities in the implementation of the project.

Monitoring, assessment and (self)avaluation are very important phases and we need to be very detailed, including clear activities, criteria and rating grids.

Then we can't forget the final certification of the competences acquired in informal and non-formal learning contexts referring to the project aims and objectives. My school is involved in eTwinning projects, but has never applied for Erasmus+ KA1. However, according to my opinion, it is important to have specific purposes, criteria, self-evaluation as well as cooperation, collaboration and communication between colleagues.

I think that the most important characteristics of a good European Plan should be first of all be always realistic, because it’s important to be aware how much can you do with your current competencies and experience. Another aspect is that your evaluator gets a clear picture what would you like to achieve so you should be concrete when you plan. You should also remember to write in your application what exactly will you get with mobility project that you cannot get at your home country. And you have to consider that the project is not just for you or for your colleagues, but it’s also for your local community and for the whole school. You have to plan some serious dissemination actions in order to spread the knowledge as much as possible

It's a chance to collaborate with different methods, different ideas that will enrich everyone.

Our project has been approved and it lasts two years , the first is over and all the courses attended with profit, some dissemination in the school and on the social platforms done, but the more we approach the end the more difficult it becomes to plan harmoniously and in the perspective of accomplishing all the objectives stated in the European plan of development. that's why i think that the most important thing todo is to have a valid Erasmus Team in the school with colleagues and school directors and staff willingly to help on site not only to go on mobility . so collaboration is the key word.

As regars the Italian school, I agree with some comments here posted as I think it is important to consider the local background of the classes and students involved into the projects according to the PTOF (Piano Triennale Offerta Formativa) approved by each school.
It is also important to share and plan involving as many colleagues as possible with different skills and competencies in order to cover different levels, disciplines and have more opportunities to be successful at the moment of application.
Objectives, targets and budget must be identified clearly as well.

I think that when applying for a KA1, teachers staff should plan clearly and precisely what objectives to reach according to the real needs of the school they work in. They have to detail all the activities to develop for the specified aims and which impact they expect they will have on students and on their teaching practices. Then, a good evaluation system of all actions undertaken is essential to make clear the results got. Moreover, it is very important to involve as many colleagues as possible and coordinate the work to do with a great accuracy in each phase of the project.

- I think that those teachers and schools who have never implemented a KA1 project, need counseling from those who have delivered a successful project. So WIDESPREAD DISSEMINATION AND DETAILED FEEDBACK could really help. But the format shouldn't be large seminars usually organized far from the schools and towns and where teachers usually get bored by the speakers and terribly long presentation. I think a useful format should be SMALL WORKSHOPS teachers who make themselves available when there's a request, even online, and where a couple of teachers can ask numerous or even silly questions in order to make the application, for example.

I have experience in filling in KA1 application form, the first time application for the period 2014- 20120 programme was approved in 2014. it was a two year project with 38 mobilities, It has had a strongly positie impact on my istitution
The advice I can share is to use realistic objectives whch are unique for each school, so in the development plan it is necessary to portrait the real situation and need of the schol staff . This can be done by a survey, according to the mentioned needs the project staff choose the priorities, It is also important to be simply an clearly staed what the objectives are, and how they are going to be carried out. It is necessary to specify what has to be one before uring anfd after the mobiity or job shadowing period, as well as the short medium an long term mpact on the school and on the whole community which has to be informed through media,school website,etc .
In short every detail has to be declared and specified, The hosting organization has to be chosen beforehand and contacted while filling in the project because collaboration with the hosting organization can produce positive ideas about the activities to be run ; indeed the activities have to be written in a very clear way , too
Last but not least it is necessary to write a well planned dissemination project which has to involve other school staff so that everyone can get a benefit from the project even those who do not participate in the mobilities.

My tips:

- To analyse the needs of the organisation and set up an European development plan, always realistic and considering the real needs and how much can you do with your current competencies and experience.
- Design a coherent project

- Find a good team to work in the project in all the process: writing the application, managing , monitoring and evaluating the project.

- Find good and reliable international partners for structured courses and for job shadowing.
- Specify with detail all the preparatory activities that the organisation will carry out to prepare the participants.
- Set up clear criteria how to select participants and be very careful selecting them. They should be motivated and encouraged to learn new things or new approaches. Involve only teachers that really what to improve their skills and take advantage of the experience for their professional development and to share it with other teachers.
- Work on realistic objectives, set up long term goals and action plans to integrate the new outcomes in the organisation.
- Describe what will be done after the mobilities and how the new outcomes will be integrated.
- Write a well planned dissemination.
- Involvement of the school management is crucial, without their support it is impossible to monitoring the project
- Disseminate the results with other teachers and staff of the school and other schools
- Prove how your organisation will benefit and consequently improve thanks to a European protect.

I have partecipated in an in-training Comenius course for teachers and found it interesting and it baceame a turning point for my career as a European teacher with a network of colleagues throughout Europe. I'd love to involve other colleagues in the same adventure. So I think that if we want to involve as many colleagues as possible, we would have to take into account the most popular requests for professional development: I noticed that these surely would be competences in a foreign language, particularly English, and ICT in a class environment. It is not very easy to put many people's ideas all together, specially when lots of them are from different subjects/areas and have different needs about training. It also depends of the target age of the staff of the school.. Interestings could be quite different.

It's a big effort but a very exciting and professional experience!

I think that disseminating results is a key point in Erasmus projects. Nowadays in Italy every school needs to show parents and other stakeholders its effots to innovate in order to attract new students and further Government financial support. I really believe that one of the most important tips to pursue is the collaboration between school members. This doesn't happen very often, so few people work, preferring not to share their projects with other members. We designed our Educational School Project(PEC) based in the internationalization of our school and about to implement New Methodologies.
It was really important to create an Erasmus team in our school and to have the headmaster agreement and collaboration. Our experience is really amazing.
