The Election of 1800 was not a revolution because the transition between the two political powers was smooth and bloodless. There was no great battle or extreme difference between the number of votes. It was merely a quick power shift. It was revolutionary because of the bloodlessness of the transformation between parties but it was hardly a revolution due to the lack of a revolt.
