         <description><![CDATA[<p>Kids Modeling:</p><p>One thing that I have started to do this year at our Academic Committee meetings is to have kids model something that is unclear for the community.  For example, we get a lot of questions about badging and grading.  I had two learners from the elementary explain how it works.  This helped to clear up some community confusion in a really positive way.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Currently, we have a cohort of teachers going through an MCL Masters program that meets on-site at our school district.  The problem is it is only a small number of teachers.</p><p><br/></p><p>Another thing we did this year was align our teacher goal setting with the District and MCL vision to show the connection.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>We have really focused on writing curriculum with learning progressions imbedded in the curriculum, along with scales, which has helped teachers see the connection.  </p><p><br/></p><p>This year, we also have the high priority standards as the report card for elementary ELA and Math.  We provided a FAQ for how teachers can answer questions parents had.  This is a baby step, however, we have not had any negative feedback from parents, so I am taking it as a win!</p>]]></description>
