This means when people are moving to trade or find a new home, they usually would travel through Kansas.<br>     The pony express once traveled through Kansas from Missouri to California. Later, the transcontinental telegraph line linked Kansas to the rest of the country. Today we are linked through the internet.<br>     </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A region is a part of a larger area. Kansas has a lot of regions; The high plains are flatlands formed from sediments from the Rocky Mountains. The red hills are a series of hills throughout Kansas with iron oxide. The ozark plateau spreads through Missouri, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. It is the place with the oldest surface rock in the state.</div>]]></description>
