Don't base results on a 'rule of thumb', have a scientific measurement to get a precise expectation.
2. Employees will have specific roles and training instead choosing their own and training themselves. 
3. Management and employees will work together to make sure all procedures and plans are being followed. 
4. Management plans the roles and employees complete the tasks. There is a clear line between the two statuses in an organization.

-Micromanagement was not appropriate level of management needed in a school classroom where different teachers and students are working on different levels.
-Led to lack of concern for social and emotional issues and low workplace morale.
-School quality decreased, behavior problems increased, and drop outs increased.
