With Brian having a license and a car, we decided to go ahead and drive there. Gas however will be $3.00 per gallon. Kernville being 200 miles away, we will need enough gas for 400 miles to get there and back. Brian's car gets on average 20 miles per gallon. This means we will need 20 gallons of gas which will cost $60. Both of us will cover $30.

We decided to eat out only once a day due to financial limitations. On average a meal there will be about $16 per person. We also bought groceries that can be kept in a cooler for every other meal for $30. These groceries will last for the three days if we only eat three times a day and one of those times being going out. All in all, each person will be paying $39.
