         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>In order to bring about greater understanding of cultures in the language classroom, multilingual digital storytelling can be used.</li><li>Students work together to create a digital story that can focus on a certain theme or unit goal.</li><li>Digital storytelling provides an outlet for students to share their own lives and those around them.</li><li>In each of the schools they studied, all of the students created a digital video that had heartfelt empathy for the "other" or outsider in their community.</li><li>Enhances engagement, fosters collaboration, transforms learning, and helps to build digital literacy.</li></ul>]]></description>
