  • In each of the schools they studied, all of the students created a digital video that had heartfelt empathy for the "other" or outsider in their community.

  • Examples:
  • If dealing with a social topic as seen in examples, make sure students are all respectful. 
    • A lot of background discussion is needed for the social topics (ex. Abandonnée)
  • Preplanning is necessary
    • Takes a while for students to come up with story, work in content objectives, and then create digital version.
  • Great for combining multiple content goals 
    • Ex: History and language
  • Give students an outlet to express themselves. 
    • Maybe give broader goals
