First of all my happiness is traveling around the world , doing advantage , talking with people around me , have a big conversation with my friends and family.
I agree to this topic because i also don't like to use screen like phone and I prefer to feel and get my happiness from the reality at outdoor that we facing , not happiness from internet. Actually people nowadays spend most of the time with internet and not going outside to feel a reality of natural and they're think and prefer to addicted of internet and their phone.but truthfully they are not ! Because people nowadays is like to use their life in a easy way, that why they prefer to spend most of the time with the screen. That why they are not going anywhere to feel and facing with the reality of natural. While ago most of people prefer to going somewhere to get some happiness from natural, going library to get information, going to the beach with the family to get any good idea of their life. Going outside to get it by themselves.
Why people in the past can got a better life of course because of they're prefer to use the life with the real nature. Try to imagine if people in the past want to cook something they just going outside to bought a ingredients by themselves and if they don't know how to do it,they just go ahead to library to find it. But looking at people nowadays ? They just go ahead to online market and YouTube then they can get whatever they want. What the different between it ?
The last I swear I really prefer to going outdoor to get a reality natural more than losing the time with the screen and i support for people nowadays to spend their time to get their happiness from the real place and facing to the place that make your life is better. Even though me hard to doing like that but i will try the best to do it of course nowadays internet and screen is like 1 of the part in our life and internet is everything in our life now !

“Happiness”for me is eating foods, going out with friends of mine, traveling, and doing
what I want to do. Also, Family is “Happiness” because I can learn about almost
everything in my life from my mother. Even when I sometimes make a mistake in
my daily life, my parents teach me what is okay, and not okay for living.
Thanks to her teaching and strictness, I can live my life for now and get along
with people and so on.

Q2 .I agree with his opinion. First of all, everyone(of course including me) is addicted to information from the internet, eventhough we don’t know if it is true or not, because so many different kinds of informationabout one topic, for example. Second of all, nowadays, even “little kids” areusing smartphone and always getting their attention to their smartphone’sscreens, so I think they are communicating with their friends or family isgetting less and less. It is very serious problem because communication is veryimportant in our life, for example, when we want to get a job, we go to a job
interview. But they cannot tell the interviewer what they are thinking and so on.

But what if we get rid of our screens? Just get information from our reality that we are facing in our life, instead. We can get to know more about many interesting things more closely, and morerealistically. And, “We” can be information. For example, we go walk outside and feel the nature where we live, and then if we get some thought or feeling, we can share with our children, friends, family, and so on. That means we can communicate with eachother, by getting distance from screens.

What is happiness to you?

My happiness is quite simple. My happiness
is stay safe with my family, friends, and my around people. Safe means not be
poverty, not be quarrel, and not be war (I don’t have experience war but I
think war is not make happy for normal people.). However, I don’t think be so
much richer because I think I can’t solve all problem If I have a lot of money.
Speaker said people feel happiness when they stay with natural. Actually, I
agree that. For example, when I sit on the beach then see the ocean with my
friends, I also feel happy because I think natural things make me feel “Peace”.
When I feel “Peace” I also feel happiness.

The speaker believes that "Reality is
richer than screens." Do you agree/disagree? Why?

I agree “Reality is richer then screens.”
For example when I come o Malaysia, I really miss my friends in Japan. So I
always call them by videophone. But when I go back Japan I can see my friends
in real. Of cause I was enjoyed to talk with them on screen in Malaysia.
However, I feel more fun to talk with my friends in real. My opinion is face to
face make more fullfiling time. So that’s why I agree “Reality is richer than
screens”.

Along with the
development of the people’s living standard, all of people strive for
happiness. So, how can make people happy? It is natural things. According to
the speaker, I agree with his said your phone is not very natural. Exactly, phone
gives us many conveniences, and we often get lots of information from our phone
but it is not natural. What is natural thing? It should be your experience. For
example, happiness is that you enjoy breakfast with your family every morning
rather than just get some news from your phone.

In my opinion, I
am a student, and I am staying in a strange country where so far from my
homeland. So I hope to have more time talking with my mother and father that is
my happiness. However I can talk with them by video charting. But I hope to talk
with my family members face to face. This is the biggest happiness foe me. The
phone gives us a lot of benefits, but it can not give us happiness. We need experience
more natural things rather than get more information.

In summary, from
my point of view, I think reality is richer than screens.

(2)I agree the speakers"Reality is richer than screens." On interne have a lot of information and online search really conveniently and has many benefits. But the internet waold is virtual, between reality and internet have a layer of insulation screen and we can't touch it.the information on the net also have false. For example, a very interesting thing, a group of friends tell you, you all laughing and happy together,Or you also find this interesting thing on the Internet, youself laugh it off, by contrast, which is more better? The answer is obvious. The network is virtual, it can replace part of people's life not whole. It can't instead of the communication of the mind.

1.In respect to the video, do you agree/disagree with the theory?

I agree with the theory. Babies can acquire knowledges from the outside anytime they want becaue they know nothing how they live, speak, and so on, so they try to learn everything from us, adults. After babies born, we try to speak babies like, hello, or how are you,for example. And then babies try to understand and acquire languages from adults because babies are not "culture-bound listeners". It doesn't matter what the language comes from. They can discriminate every languages because their brains want babies to get used to ''the world", not only one country. And also , why babies can discriminate every language is that babies are preparing for learning, like linguistics or mathmatics at school or somewhere. From these reasons, I agree with the theory.

2. Who is better language learner, child or adult?

I think children is much better language learner. I am learning English as a foreign language for about six years or more. I often memorize english words with a book, watch western movies with japanese subtitles, and listen to western music. but I easily forget the words I memorized. That is because that I dont have any opportunity to use in my life. I use my native language, japanese. And English words have a lot of words that have very similar pronunciations like right and light. It is very difficult to discriminate for me. I always struggle with the problem. Even if I listen to these to words to discrimante, when it comes to talk with people in english, I cannot discriminate.

On the other hand, babies can acquire almost everything about languages from everywhere. I have a nephew, he is only 5 years old now. He is learning English but not at school. His mother teaches him English.

One day, I visited his house, and chatted with his mother. When it comes to talk about English with her, he suddenly came to me, and he spoke some in English, and surprisingly he said some words which he didn't learn from his mother yet. His mother wondered how did he learn the word? I asked him that where did he learn from and he asked that he learnd from me. he heared me speaking english long time ago.

that is why he could speak the word. I was very surprised because I used the word only one time but he memorized..

from these reasons, I think children is better language learner than adult.

I am agree what theory saying and some I don't agree with it.
Of course child is a better language learner
The growth of the brain during those times too. It causes a term called. Window of opportunity
Which will develop skills that can quickly and easily fill it up.
The current study was based on the development and growth of the brain as well.
Adult The brain grows until then stops. The various learning is much slower than in the occasion.and also will learn new things more. But it is absorbed much more slowly. In humans, there is a process called pruning, which is what we learned then have not picked.
The brain is made out to be deleted by a reorganization of brain cells like a simple idea and then razed a house cluttered garbage that does not take away too.
This process will take a few times. Once it has on children and adolescents at the beginning again.and each child will learn as much or as little slower or faster depending on the stimulation of their peers.
'And also in the other way to say about this the young bilingual children tend to learn more slowly than older children and adults. They have a way of thinking, a way to get information, how to analyze. And the ability to memorize better childcare. Thus enabling them to learn the language faster. Especially if performance means the time it takes to learn a second language. Teens and adults often over small children. Generally Most adults learn a second language more quickly than most children. There will be some periods, especially during the adolescent child may not feel like learning a new language. The talented in both languages as possible, both for small children. Teens and adults Everyone can succeed.'(according to : A PARENTS' AND TEACHERS' GUIDE TO BILINGUALISM)

I agree this theory. I think so we get knowledge from the outside world. An occasion
for children, especially they get knowledge from their parents. We can’t create
knowledge. Knowledge have to need basis and basis should be from outside world.I think better language learner is children. Actually, I have never studied foreign language when I was child. I started to study English in high school. It is 3 years ago. However, my one of friends, she can speak English very smoothly because she have been studying English when she was baby. So that’s why I think better language learner is children. If you can learn foreign language from you was baby, you can’t forget that knowledge. But I think adult language learner is not bad. Because now, I really happy to study foreign language. Children must be better language learner but I

can feel more happiness to learning than children.

Yes,i agree with this point. This video shows us some experiments about babies learning language that real and effective. As the vedio said:Babies all over the world are what describe as "citizens of the world." They can discriminate all the sounds of all languages, no matter which country. They tested American babies who'd never heard a second language to Mandarin for the first time during the critical period. When monolinguals were tested in Taipei and Seattle on the Mandarin sounds, they showed the same pattern. Six to eight months, they're totally equivalent. Two months later, something incredible happens. But the Taiwanese babies are getting better, not the American babies. What it demonstrated is that babies take statistics on a new language. Whatever you put in front of them, they'll take statistics on.

I make sure babies are best language learner in the world.During that period, Babies learing very fast. The possibility of their brains have unlimited development and infinite potential.A few months or a year's time learning they could surpass adults to learn the language learning for years or decades.

One reason that it seems that children acquire a second language quicker than adults is because of babies learn a language is imitation of subconscious without stress and benefit. As
well as they have better understanding and receptivity. They have easier to adapting the pronunciation of a language. So they can learn it very well and fast. But adults are different. It is difficult to they learn a second language. Because their pronunciation is settled and imitative ability is very inferior.

Yes we must expose a children on sex education as early as primary school and it's will protect to the children and in the same time it's also will be education to tear the children too. And we should fit It is a sensitive issue Adult teaching would have to explain how easy it is to cover not explain it at odds with the personality of the child. Because of this primary school age are growing. Want to learn more and try to ask yourself a challenge. It is important to friend. If families are not waiting for adults to teach. But the wait was not misinformation from their peers. It affect the faith of my children.

Currently, many schools continue to be coy about it from that recently began teaching sex education seriously, who really is a little late.
The result is that some children have not yet learned about sex and having safe sex.
Not yet to understand I'm going to have sex,
And it is tragic as well as sex education, many teachers often teach sex education without clear resolution.
I'm going to point out that target children to taste, or how. Many children do not yet understand about sex education.
And in the other side at abroad country has taught since kindergarten that approach. By adjusting the content and media created to suit different ages too.
Very young children kindergarten It may teach in terms of hygiene and the prevention of a simple example.
A puppet doll wearing a swimsuit. It is defined as the area where the wearing part is not exposed to others.
The fact that even teaching The bathroom is separated by gender, it is the same as sex education.
If we closed the opportunity to learn about sex education, too. Makes kids more curious and wanted to touch. May adversely affect children and affect the future. And also that sex education is embarrassing. The children did not dare to learn. Do not dare to talk to parents. What makes the statistics of pregnancy. At a young age Then, due to the fact that schools do not teach them to know the real factors of sex education.so the school must teach a children about sex education and the family also should talk to children and don't build up a big wall between parent and children and it's will be a best way to protecting and best education for them.

Along with the development of the society, sexuality is always talked about by people as an exoteric theme. Children’s sexual education has been brought to our attention. This is a very important stage for children.

According to the video and article, I agree with that we need to expose children on sexual education as early as primary school. It is not only protection for them but also an education for their growth. Children are curious and they want to get information about sexuality. If you do not tell them, they can get it from other place as magazines or other people even internet. Generally, sexual education will help you a lot. You really will know what kind of things you can do or not. If you are schools, you can not tell your children “I don’t want to tell you some things about sex”. Actually, if you are schools, perhaps if you can try prepare for a model with your children; tell them what is it and how to mate with each other, girl and boy. In fact, you should tell them that illegal to them, and then hope they are able to take it seriously and do not happensomething about it. I think that it was very useful to help your children know
everything.

In China, we do not have sexual education in our school. As everyone knows, China is a historic country with lots of old conventions. As a traditional country, of course sexual education will not be selected into the school syllabus. However, sexual education is very important a part of the school syllabus that will improve our knowledge about sexuality.

From my point of view, it is positive for children to accept sexual education in school. But school should pays attention to how to teach children about sexuality that we can not give them much more information at once. We should tell them increasingly.

I agree with the attached video.

Pregnancy rate who are children is getting higher and higher these days, in japan, and another countries. I think that is because we don't learn anything about sexuality thing from children. Adults know about sexuality such as only men has a penis, for example. Even if adults take conversation about sexuality thing, it is not weird or strang. But, on the contrary, what if chldren take conversation about such a thing? We must be think "it is very embarrassing and weird for children totalk such a topic, becasue they are still "children'' ". Usually, asults think that children should not know or learn about sexuality thing because "too early". But, because of their ignorance of sexuality things, young age pregnancy is higher and higher these days. but, if children learn about sexuality from primary school, that problem would be solved. It would be both education anf protection from crimes and young pregnancy.

When I was in junior high school(8th grade), we had sex education, but the class was separated by gender. I don' know what boys learned in the class. Welearnd about how our body created, how we get pregnant, how many months take until we born a child, how dangerous to have sex on young age, and how to protect to pregnant from sex.

First question：

（1）I agree with this point. The primary school student is in an ignorant age, they need to learn many things and curious for new things, they also have the courage to try them. And the most knowledge is the teacher teach them.

（2）Now teenager's adolescence compared to the past is in advance, so it is necessary to expand sex education for primary school student. Some girls because of the lack of knowledge of menstruation feel scare after menstruation comeing, some of them even cry.We can't wait for problems happened to education children.I remember have a sex education research to thousands of students before, the results showed that only 56% of boys know what is spermatorrhea, only 73% of girls know what is menstruation. It is important to notice that only 12% of the students understand the secondary sex characteristic of adolescence. It is easy to see the lack of sexual knowledge.

（3）Because of lack of education, many students to steal taste "forbidden fruit" and the result is early in the pregnancy. Some obstetrics and gynecology doctors said that in recent years holidays the number of students have an abortion are increasing and the characteristics of the present age, the smallest only 14 years old.
"Teenager sex in advance is an unavoidable question at present. If we do not pay attention to this problem it will hurt children and their families.

Second question：

In my country i never have sex education as part of the school syllabus.Because china is a very traditional country until now.So people's thought are more conservative, we can't talk about sex with each other without shame including teacher and Education Bureau never have rule about school must teach students the knowledge of sex.As you know,China's education is very nervous,we have a lot of homework and 12 hours of classes a day, pressure is very heavy, If we have this kind class, teacher also must":A lot of China's education is very nervous, homework, 12 hours of classes a day, pressure is very heavy, even if have this kind of class, the teacher also mustn't teach you and prefer to Maths、English、physics and some examination subjects that is why sex education classes will not appear in Chinese school.

1. Is child marriage accepted in your culture?

My country is accepted marriage from 16 years old who permitted by parents, by low. but, most of japanese girls who got married such a young age often get some negative opinion from elder people, friends or even their parents. The reason why they have negative opinion about child marriage is that until 20 years old, they are treated as ''teenager", and they don't know how to glow up kids, earn money, live on their own. Although in japan we are accepted young marriage, some people have ne gative thoughts on their mind.

2. What would be the reasons behind the culture of child marriage?

The reason why child marriage is common is that their tradition and culture. And also how their education system creates, and gender-prejudices. And according to the attached article, in Bangladesh, 73 percent of girls get marry until they turn 18 years old, so if a girl don't get marry in child age like 15 or 16, elder people say to girls that they affair to get marry, stuburn, or don't respect their own tradtions, and cultures. It is totally gender discrimination. And also, they believe that child marriage pretect many girls fro sexual violences.

3. Would you agree with ~~~

Yes I agree with the idea. Children didn't finish their education yet. Despite their ignorance of marrige, how to grow up child, and so on, getting marry who is child is very risky. because they got marry and got pregnant in spite of they don't get well educated. And aslo once they got married, their dreams, hopes destroy suddenly because the have to focus on their family. They cannot do what they want. One more thing is that children are only just children. They never knowhow to get along with their husband. so as the wman tell us in TED, first marriage never continue so long.

It means, young girls have to grow their kids on their own. It must be very tiring and hard thing for them. In addition, they don't get well educated, they don't know how to get along with society. these reaons, this kind of marriage never help their living from in poverty.

A. Is child marriage accepted in your culture?
Yes a child marriages is accepted in my culture but it's like this 'Women and men marrying each other it's men and women must be aged 17 years or older.
If you are under 16 years of age as men aged 15 years to get married to.
The district registrar Registration is not married to.
The conditions of life are not defined by the law.
But if the age is under 17 years of age may be registered marriage. When there are reasonable grounds The court has allowed the marriage license before first.' That is the way of law and in my culture we're respect to 'Gender equality
We don't compulsion seem it happen in Malawi
And once all of little girls are reach puberty slag we don't suppose to go the initiation camps . Of course it's so hurtful and its not accept in my culture actually they can marry when they want ! Father force their child for marriage is the thing that happened in the past, but nowadays not many people still use this format to much anymore by the way people in the past that doing that because they don't have education but just following culture and society of their community.

B.What would be the reasons behind the culture of child marriage?
The reason that why child marriage is because of their tradition, culture and education also the place that their growing up from all of the little girl have no choice to choose and can't decide anything for their life.and for other reasons like if a little girl don't get married or pregnant it's mean they don't respect their own traditions or broke their own traditions and married, have babies as young age, they are believed it will make a little girl became happy and lucky in their life or getting better life. Which is the truth about it no one can said it wrong or correct ? What about their follow in their tradition until now that 'Memory Banda wake up and fighting for a little girl in here's country and ask for use the law for help a girl in their communities and other communities also because if they are looking in the other ways it like something in a sexual violence so why all of little have to following this tradition more ? And the last reason it's the law that can't help anything to the girl and the law that don't really take it to using for help them so if the law Is in used extensively maybe it's will can help them some .

C. Would you agree with the idea of saving the child from poverty hence the child marriage? Do you think this kind of marriage actually saves the child from living in poverty?
No I don't agree with this kind of marriage that said can saves the child from living in a poverty.
Because when all of a little girl are became mother they'll have to pay more and more for their babies and it's will make them spend more money and one again if this kind of marriage actually saves the child from living in poverty why in the past until nowadays their culture still one of poverty country ? That make you thinking because Memory Banda said they are one of poorest country so if this kind of marriage actually saves the child from living in poverty why everything still not change ? Why they don't think like Memory Banda think for change it , fighting for change it , fighting for the law to help a little girl ? Help all of little girl to get better life , education all of them cant choose anything for their life so what Memory Banda did it the best thing to help them. I suppose and praise about it,I wish that they'll get the better in everything the their life.

1.firstly,i want to thank my wonderful teacher for this topic.i don`t
know if i would be allow to write 1,500 words because of these topic.
but i will just list out my point of view like summary . teacher i said
yesssss ohh . really i hate this culture . child marriage is allow
mostly in Africa. i will share my little experience there friend of mine
in my country a girl in the same neighbourhood, at the age of 17 she is
married.when i heard the news i was surprise. 2.the reasons of these
early marriage : i will say is ignorance, poverty,to fulfil their promise
they make to their parents.,to keep up to ones ego or name. i will say
this child marriage is commonly among the rulers member in Africa let me
say like the Oba,Emir, or sultan. so the did this act to cover most of
their contract or covenant with their opposite partners. to keep their
promise . and it is also common among the North part in my country like
the fulani, Hausas, and some Muslim country.

                                          3.secondly i will say is a
taboo to me . i don`t think i will support the idea because of poverty
and send the child to child marriage. for me is like a trafficking among
children. selling their joy. child marriage may also endanger this
children life , like untimely death. for example if the child is not
ready for pregnancy and she get pregnant and her life is also in danger.
most family find this out because they are poor. but i think if i am
minister of children affairs i would like to banish this act really i
will. cause for me this act, some country find it interesting. but i
don`t support it.
                                                              4.i agree
it saves for poverty ok, but firstly the family need to have a think of
it twice if we done this what about our children happiness,or joy, will
she ever forgive us for this act. they said every think that have good
effect also has bad effect if you take a look at it . the bad effect is
more than the good side. you can`t tell me if this child get married to
this men they would have sex with them. i don`t think so. a man can
pretend for 1 hour but 1 full day i don`t think . this men can do
without having sex with these children. and you take a look at it at the
age of 15 a child is at the labour room what will you think will
happen.i also think how to solve this mess is if they are educated they
can over come poverty.

And meals can married 18 years old. Anyone can not to make married by force both of them. So in Japan can married when you want. Of course you need permission by parents if you are young. However Nowadays Japanese young people married later of life and Japan advance a dwindling number of children. So I think children married is big issue but dwindling number of children also big issue in the world.

B. What would be the reasons behind the culture of child married?

The reasons why there is child married. I think girls can not live without adult meal in their culture. Because some countries don't develop girls education and these girls can not learn what they want to study, and also can not learn knowledge that is need to live. For examples how to read words, how to calculate numbers, and so on. So these girls can not find job, if they can get job luckily, but they can not live without another incomes. So that my idea why it's happened child married in some countries.

C. Would you agree with this idea,,,,,,

I don't want to agree this opinion but I agree that thinking with in living conditions their country. I think nowadays still can not have enough education for girls in their country. So child married is only way to save girls from poverty. However when girls married very young, they can not to make their dream come true. They can not to do what they want to do. For my country, girls can take education what they want, can married when they want, can do work what they want, so girls should be free like my country all of the world. I was very shocked about this topic but I hope all girls can be free in the world.

(A)As far as I know in ancient China, a normally phenomenon that most of the girls get married and pregnancy before the age of 16 .But in the modern society, this kind of phenomenon had alomst disappeared in big cities because of the law rules girls must get married after 21. but it still has in the some remote Poverty-stricken Rural Areas.

(B)As i know, child marriage still very common in India.I think child marriage can still exists in India because of the complicated social reason.Economy is one of the most important aspects.India has the dowry system since ancient times, when girl married the bride's family must give the husband family a lot of cash.According to tradition, if the woman's age smaller, the husband family will ask for the less dowry. If the man is smaller,it also can reduce the cost of the wedding .In many poor families, they think child marriage is cheap and allow their children to get married as soon as early is quite cost-effective.In addition, India's ancient religious law allows child bigamous marriage. The girl's parents afraid of their daughter will have premarital sex and bring shame on the family name. These is the reason why child marriage is still followed today.Security is also a factor in early marriage.Afghanistan over the past 30 years has been at war, girls often face was kidnapped and raped. The consequences of child marriage is very serious, it has greatly increased the infants and pregnant women mortality.Afghan women's average life expectancy of 44 years old, is one of the lowest in the world

(C)I diagree this idea can save the child from poverty. In 2005-2006,a India national family health survey showed 22.6% of women get married before the age of 16, 44.5% of women between 16 and 17 year old married, 2.6% of women less than 13 years old to get married."Child marriage women have more than three times of fertility, production of the interval of two children less than two years, the possibility of accidental pregnancy, termination of pregnancy and sterilization is also very high."The government of India in 1929 banned child marriage law, but it did not work.In 1978 the government of India raised woman and man legal marry-age to 21, 18 years old, but in many areas, especially the mountain tribes, child marriage is still very popular.Affected by the child marriage is not only 16-17 adolescent girls, there are also a large number of younger 14 to 15 years old girl, India's current policy and economic development and can't help to rural women and poverty.Child marriage is a bad habit.I consider poverty family shouldn't “sell” their daughter because of money. It against morality.

A. Is child marriage accepted in your culture?

China is an old country. In Chinese ancient society, it is very common phenomenon to the young people get married before they 18 years old. Actually, if you were 18 years old, but you still did not get married. Your parents would be anxious. However it is just in ancient. At current China, we can not accept the young people who get married before 20 to girls and get married before 22 to boys in the city. Because of normal young people who still study in school when they are 16 years old. They are not ready for organize a family, take care of a baby and even they do not have ability to keep a family. If they get married how can they live in this society? They do not have experience to daily life that they will get setback in every thing. Then their family will
be broken. So in my opinion, I can not accept child marriage.

B.What would be the reasons behind the culture of child marriage?

Child marriage is a wrong thing. But it still happens in a lot of areas as in India, Africa, the Middle East and South Asia. These areas are very poverty even some family
have many children. They do not have enough money to bring up their children and
also some parents of child marriage are for boy gives them some money. So they
can but give their daughter to be married with other boy when the girls are
around 16 years old. This phenomenon almost only appears in developing country.

C. Would you agree with the idea?

In my opinion, I will disagree with this idea. I do not think this kind of marriage actually saves the child from living in poverty. Child marriage can not change poverty and every thing. Millions of girls get married before 18 years old by the mind of their parents all around the world every year. Of course their children get married whose patents will save themselves living in poverty. But how can the children living in the society? They do not have ability to earn more money for keep family and even keep their baby. It is only can make them more poverty to get married too early. So there is only one way to change their life, it is make a law to keep the children get married after 18, and then let them accept a well education.

a. Actually, I really don’t like Mathematics

because they are too difficult for me. When I was Elementary school. I really didn’t
understand what math teacher said and also I really didn’t understand why
people should study math. But now I watched this video and I read this article,
my mind have been changing. In our life, we not have to use difficult
mathematics formulas when we live in the world. We don’t need solve a cubic
equation everyday. Because we are not mathematician. However we need solve a
little bit mathematics problems for example, how much this price of commodity
or which is cheaper this commodity or that commodity. And also video said we
can use mathematics which line is better when you go to shopping in supermarket.
So I think mathematics can help our life more comfortable. So that’s why
important to learn math in school.

b. I use to think mathematics doesn’t connect
with language but actually, after read this article, I think there are
connections between mathematics and language. In childhood, we learn how to
count numbers like language. It is kind of mathematic. So it relationship
between mathematic and language in process of how to learn.

c. Actually I don’t know very much about
that but in Japan, people have image that is mathematics student smarter than
language student. I think mathematics student can get more difficult and
logical job than language student. For example a person doing research of famous
company. So, probably science graduates contribute more to the country than
language graduates. It is true. It happens in my country too, but I think
educational syllabus don’t focuses more on science than language. In my case, I
really don’t like mathematics, chemistry, and science, so I always choose like
languages course or humanities course. But I have never felt mathematics is
better than these course for me. I’m really satisfaction about education environment
in my country.

1.Mathematics helps alot , and it also important for us alot lot. in any thing you want want to do or if you wan to become a successful man or woman you must be good at mathematics . Mathematics is of central importance to modern society. It provides the
vital underpinning of the knowledge economy. It is essential in the
physical sciences, technology, business, financial services and many
areas of ICT. It is also of growing importance in biology, medicine and
many of the social sciences. Mathematics forms the basis of most
scientific and industrial research and development. Increasingly, many
complex systems and structures in the modern world can only be
understood using mathematics and much of the design and control of
high-technology systems depends on mathematical inputs and outputs.

2.Mathematics provides a powerful universal language and intellectual
toolkit for abstraction. Generalisation and synthesis. It is the
language of science and technology. It enables us to probe the natural
universe and to develop new technologies that have helped us control and
master our environment, and change societal expectations and standards
of living. Mathematical skills are highly valued and sought after.
Mathematical training disciplines the mind, develops logical and
critical reasoning and develops analytical and problem-solving skills to
a high degree.
	3. in my country the two most important subject is mathematics and English language. they are the two most importance course follow by chemistry and physics

A.The reasn why mathematic important is that if we don't learn anything about mathematics, we can't count even 1 or 2.

B. There are connections between mathmatic and language. Language is very important if you take educations. Wa cannot do anything without language. And, according to the attached article, the language a child speaks affects the rate at which they learn number words, also that hearing number words in naturalistic speech-- is a critical part of number word learning. It means that language provide you really rich cues to number meaning.

C i. Yes it happens in my country because if the government or school give scholarship students who are genius of math or science, they can grow the students who will be contributing their country or even the world because science crate this world..

C ii. Yes we focus more science than languages. Because science can create the world. The world is getting more and more developing by chemistry and science. On the contrary, language can be translated by anything. Even if we are not good at languages, we can communicate.

But science can contribute our own country more and it helps this whole world, perhaps. So my country more focus on science than language.

(A)Mathematics is not just for computational problems and solving equations, these things will become blind spot in our memory at the end of the exam. The more important is training our mathematics ability and feelings of the world in the process of learning that is the wealth with our all lifetime .This is the reason of why we must learn this course well.

(B)Mathematics and language has a long history, the former as typical of the humanities, up until the latter part of the century had previously been thought to be the most important natural science. Few people would have thought that two subjects had a deep connection.
In 1847, the Russian mathematician Brie Yakov J Ki pointed out that it can be used in the probability theory to carry on the research of the grammar, the word origin and the language history comparison. In 1894, the Swiss (Saussure De) pointed out that in the basic nature, the relationship between the amount of language and the amount of the amount can be expressed in a regular expression". In 1916, he added, linguistics is like a geometric system, "it can be attributed to some of the theorems of the syndrome". In 1904,'s de Courtenay (Poland Baudouin) believed that it was necessary to master advanced mathematics, linguistics will be increasingly close to the precision science, it will be based on the model of mathematics, on the one hand, the development of new ways of thinking.
Since the middle of the nineteenth Century, many mathematicians and linguists have carried out the practice of studying the linguistic problems in mathematics.
In the middle of this century, the electronic computer has just been invented, people began to use computer to carry out machine translation, and thus need to analyze the structure of lexical and syntax analysis, the introduction of mathematical methods, greatly promoting the development of these studies to the accuracy of the algorithm. Since then, the research on the advanced programming language of computer, the research of the automatic synthesis and analysis of speech, and the development of the text recognition, have greatly promoted the combination of mathematics and linguistics.

(C)-I Our country does not have this kind of situation, our country's education policy is the comprehensive development, does not favor the science student or the liberal arts student. Get scholarships are by virtue of the study results, the scholarship of them is almost the same. Science students have the Olympic math competition but language students also can join the composition and speech contest.
I think science students and language students must be different. For example, playing digital camera, language students concerned about the effect of what the machine is good and how to shoot out the effect is good, the focus of the whole thing is concerned about the things. Science students would like to analyze the internal structure of the machine, such as the CCD element, in order to its composition, what effect will be achieved, what is the limit. This is the two different ways of thinking. But they can take a good picture.

(II)My country educational syllabus does not focuses more on sciences more than language.Science and technology are the first productive forces. Every progress of human society is accompanied by the progress of science and technology. Especially the rapid development of modern science and technology, the development of social productive forces and human civilization has opened up a wider space. The rapid development of science and technology achievements of the Chang'e-1, let the Chinese nation for thousands of years the zodiac and eventually became a real human can finally free to fly in the vast sky; the rapid development of science and technology achievements of the production automation, the liberation of repetitive mechanical labor and large amounts of data to calculate the people's hands, humanity finally can freely enjoy life; the rapid development of science and technology achievements of the modern communication tools, let apart million in people's communication barrier free, human beings can finally free to zero distance communication. But the development of language is the same, one is the communication tool, the two is the thinking tool. Meaning: there is no language, people communicate with each other, each other can not exchange ideas, contact will be interrupted, the community can not carry out the production activities, the society will collapse. Obviously, language is very important for human society. So I think that for a country, science and language are complementary and indispensable, so it is no need to focuse more on science. If have something wrong please forgive me.^-^

We began to study mathematics from we began to study until now. Why we study mathematics for a long time. There are two reasons. One of which is mathematics is important to our life, and it is everywhere in our life. We need use mathematics in many ways such as if we want build a building that engineer need draw a design drawing and worker must measure data. So they need use mathematics knowledge. And also, merchant need use mathematics to manage financial affairs. Another reason which is any subject is basis of mathematics.

a. Why is it important to learn Mathematics in school ?
Because of many reasons that why it's important to learn Mathematics in school such as to be patience to solve the problem or trouble , to know how to solve the problem step by step (make it more easier) , be better development of solving situation or etc.

b. Based on the article and the video, are there connections between Mathematics and language ?
Yes there are connection between Mathematics and language because when the lecture explain more details it will make it connected it together.

The reason behind this is sciences graduates contribute more to the country than language graduates' Does this situation happens in your country? ii- Does the educational syllabus in your country focuses more on sciences than languages ?
1. Yes, This situation happen in my country and my community
2. Yes, The education syllabus in my country focus more on science than language. It's make the most of students when they are graduate and they don't know much about the language some of them can't understand even simple words so that because of the education focus more the science and mathematics than language however the students have to study for language again because nowadays language important same others subject and sometimes it's the most important thing for the students in today.

Human body farm is very useful to solve crimes, forensic or medical purposes. If the murder or some crimes happen somewhere, and when police investigate them, it would be better to investigate with ''Human body farm" because they probably can get know or figure out about like, what happened here or something important by watching dead bodies. I have ever watched the Amrican drama ''Bones" and they always investigate and solve many crimes with dead bodies. but why? because bones talks, it means that dead bodies don't talk but we can figure out everything what happened from their bones. these reasons, I think human body heart is very important and useful in this society.

I think it should be establised in every country for forensic purposes because it surely connects to solution of crime scenes and medical scenes. And also we haven't thought that we could solve crimes and even if it doesn't connects to solution, at least it should be very helpful for us. And, there's surely many people who are hoping to bring killers to justice. So, It should be admired , esteblised and spread all over the world.

My country don't accept Human body farm. This is becasue Japanese people usually think that dead bodies have to burn as soon as possible. by doing that, they think that they respect dead bodies and they want dead bodies go to heave and rest, and also, they want to help dead bodies from suffering the pain. We usually scatter their dead bodies after their bodies burn, into the sea or somewhere they want to. By doing so, it measn that they ave so much respect for dead bodies. So,it is not good idea to westablish human dead farm. if my country estblish it, japanese peole surely would think that they don't have any respect dead bodies because they littered on the ground!

The dead body is from unclaimed and donative body. Scientists can research the natural decay of human corpses at the body farm and the effects of the rotten corpses on the environment. Such as gregarious insects rise up seed on the corpses. The rotten corpse will release digestive enzyme that can kill plants and influence surrounding vegetation. Forensic anthropologists through view corpse bone to determine the age, gender, race, and body of the deceased.

The deceased is dropped in the wilderness that is can not acceptable to everyone. Because of cultural, religious and regional differences, people’s funeral ideas and traditions are very widely. The ceremony and preparatory work of burial is very important to the ancient Egyptians. We should respect the culture of every country.

In my country, we can not accept the body farm. Because of we have lots of nations that their cultures are different, and their burial is different such as Tibetan.

I think body farm is very useful.Scientists at the body farm can study the natural decay of human corpses and the effects of the rotting corpses on the environment.
On the body of the body, scientists will study the soil around the body by means of information, such as measurement of soil acidity can determine the time of the body fluid into the soil.
Forensic anthropologist is also concerned about the weather and environment effects on the body: they study what changes may occur in desert the lifeless body of sun baked; also the scavengers will cause what kind of damage to the rotting corpses.
A forensic anthropologist can view the bones, determine the age of the deceased, gender, race and body.

I think it can't be agreeed in every country because drop the dead in the wilderness is not acceptable to everyone. Because the difference of cultural, religious and regional , people's funeral ideas and traditions vary widely. When pepple heard that Texas State University plans to build the body farm, some residents near the city of San Marcos said unacceptable. People on the body farm unpleasant odor and appalling scene expressed concern that some people even think that may coyotes dangling from rotting corpses swirling around the city.In addition to the ethical concerns, people also worried that the bodies of the farm, the virus spread disease. But the bodies of the dead bodies will do their best to avoid these phenomena.

My country certainly can't accept body farm.China is a very traditional country and every family has a great value for the funeral. The funeral is the most solemn ceremony in life, it also can be said that death is life's most grand festival,Chinese traditional funeral has a distinct continuation of filial piety, the establishment of social order and identity of the secular life, including the nostalgia of the deceased and sustenance.

I think “human body farm” cannot say
agreeable thing. And also it cannot say “I agree this system” very easily. Nowadays
people always have human rights. I hope so. As well as I think dead body also
have human right. In the world, these are some people who want to use body for
study or experimentation after they died. I think it is okay because they hope
that be contribution in the world. However actually, in “human body form”
possibly there are some people do not want to use their body for study about
forensic. My opinion, we have to respect their hope. But on the other hand, forensic
study is very important things for save people. We have to research about that
and we have to develop these knowledge. So that’s way these is “human body farm”.
I understand that. But I don’t want to agree this topic. I hope that make sure
to respect dead people. In my country, I have never heard that kind of story so
I think there are not “human body farm”. I don’t want to be establish in every
country but it will be establish more and more. Because it is for forensic
purpose I already wrote we have to develop forensic because we have to save
people from murder. But I hope it will not to be popular way. In my country’s
society, I think we will reject it. Because many people think there is human
right for dead body. Of course in my country these is forensic study but “human
body farm” would be not popular way in Japan.

2).it's depend on their culture but it doesn't show that all of them will except it such as my culture we are really respect to dead body and don't agree with this and also in my country most of people is buddha and actualy most they will not agree too and in other way if we will have human body farm it's must approval for that people before that people will die.

They can get more clues about any incidents, however according to the article, 'Up to 190 remains are littered' I think that any corpse has human right. Body is not just tool for them. We has to have human dignity and treat to them, so investigators should have burial to all of their corpses after replicate on scene.
＊Do you think about the society in your country will accept or reject it?
We'll reject it, because If there are 'Human body farm' in Japan, we can't approarch the place. there are some corpses, and their body will strew some places.

(1).Humans are not for trade. However, human trafficking has been in our world for many years. Why do you think it continuously happen regardless of the existing laws?
First that I think about 'Human trafficking' that why still have regardless of the existing laws, may some of the cause of it like The greed of the employers that need many of employees,
Illegal immigration and contribute to the field of human trafficking, poverty of some family that force some of them to find any job to help their families,to be unaware of the facts and also some cause of human trafficking in my country such as . . .
Access to the cause of human trafficking is a third factor in Thailand
- 1. Carry factors that include economic factors when 10-20 years, poverty may be the cause.
That pushes women and children are trafficked in conditions. But later found Poverty by itself is not a condition to occur.
Trafficking in women but is often combined with other factors such as poverty, lack of opportunity to receive education. Inaccessibility of public services.
The lack of professional skills or ignorance. The ignorance of how deceptive tricks. Since deceive wages manner.
Ignorance and liabilities arising from employers and other costs to the various methods of forgery.
The condition is worst in families, it has helped women and children to seek better opportunities. By not taking into account
Various dangers
- 2. Factors appeal The money is needed to sustain Send to a parent or purchase of the required due.
The values associated with consumerism and materialism.
-3. Factors related to attitudes and values, including the values are wrong about that.
Women and children are the inferior sex and age. It was exploited more than the previous generation drugs. Deceived and forced easy.

(2).How do you feel after watching the video and reading the stories attached in this post?
After I finished watching the video of human trafficking i was so pity for all of them because they didn't have good chance to get , even what they decided for their life is to be better but it's not be like that , maybe because of the society around them force them to go for a job and also the state of Financial are force to be like that Then for survive their families they have to go for a job but actually they didn't know that the thing will going on in bad way like that.

(3).Which story has the biggest impact on you? Why?
Actually every story has the biggest impact on me because al of the story it's so hard for me
All of Them have been some cases of Abuse And forced to work with reluctance,Revenue fraud, unsanitary, body attack and etc.
And also all of them go a job because want to get better life but every thing it's not like what they're decided and going on in the worst way.

I think the fundamental reason is that the regional economic development is not balanced, there are too many less developed regions. As we have seen, most of the population is from backward areas to relatively developed regions. Imbalance between men and women may be a reason, but not the most critical problem. In the real world, the resources are always scarce and supply and demand are not balanced., the proportion of men and women is also the same. And the most important is, for the trafficking of women and children, China is not particularly serious punishment. There will not be a death penalt and maximum of 5 to 10 years in prison.

Human trafficking refers to the recruitment, transport, transfer, supply, or obtaining of a person for the purpose of exploitation and utilization. The people of human trafficking always use illegal method such as the threat of violence, coercion, kidnapping, fraud, etc..
1 People trafficking is illegal.
2 Trafficking families to be discrete, a complete family.
3 Population trafficking is a departure from morality.
Chase:
In short, human trafficking is a violation of morality and law. The police have to crack down.

The story of Chen shengkuan gives me biggest impact.Because this story happends in china and touches me a lot.In China, thousands of the same example occurred in the countryside every day, hundreds of thousands of children are abducted and lead to family broken up, parents are inconsolable. Although he have a disability, but the father did not give up and finds his son day by day.The father's love is very greatness, although huamn trafficking is rampant, but if their parents do not give up, I believe they can find their children's in a day in the further and human traffickers also will be punished severely.

this video, I feel so sad. Especially I got big impact from the video. I really
don’t want to happen human trafficking in the world but I have never seem that
in my life so I think I always live in peace place and I never have experience poverty
so I know human trafficking is happen in the world but I thought it is an
affair of other people. However I watched this video and I read these stories I
think I want to do something for this problem but honestly, I have no idea what
I can I do. Why human trafficking continuously happen I n the world because
these is “poverty”. We have to work because we have to earn money for our
living. I am so lucky because I can take education and I can choose my job what
I want but if I have poverty problem, maybe I cannot take education and I cannot choose my job. So people go to human
trafficking by themselves or their parents send children for human trafficking
because they have to earn money for living. I was so surprised because there
are people who go to human trafficking by themselves. Or their parents send it.
It is very sad things and it is unfair. I think education is very important
things for poverty. If people can take education impartiality, people can find their
job by themselves. If so, nobady go to human trafficking by themselves. However,
in human trafficking, there is kidnapping case. Chan Shengkuan’s story have the
biggest impact for me. Because there are parents who send children to human
trafficking but also there are parents who want to find children because kidnapping
for human trafficking. Both of them are very tragedy things. I just can pray
that the world became more peaceful.

The reason why human trafficking has in our world is MONEY.

We can make money by working, of course, but it is much more easier way to make money by human traffcking. because there's so many people who want human as slave, sexual things, or bussiness purposes. And, poor people cannot survive by just working because especially in developing countries, their countries' living costs re very low, it means salary is also low. And, in this very severe world, the difference between rich people and poor people's are much more bigger and bigger each years. that is why poor people is getting hard to survive in this society, by selling their children or family they can make money, and they can be someone's profit.

I felt depress, sad, and angry in this wolrd's socirty. my country japan is totally a developed country, so we can live our life without any convenience. But after I watched the attached video, I realized one thing. This ''Convenience'' is created by poor people who always working for like 24 hours, no rest, and very low salary. I like to do shopping, and I usually buy cheap bags and clothes. but they are made from the poor people. Poor people cannot buy such a things, besides, cannot meet their family, lovers, and friends. I have to think that I am such a happy person because I an study, eat foods whenever I want, can buy anyhting I want, and live with my family.

"Even at work, I am consumed with the thought of my son. I think to myself: ‘How could he have disappeared from the village?’”Chen Shengkuan, searching for his 20-month-old son since the boy's suspected kidnapping in January 2015"

I got most impact from this above story. China is considered as a kidnapping country. I have ever watched this kind of news on tv show in my country, many times. I still somtimes think about this topic, such as what if my future son or daughter kidnapped by someone? If it happens, it would be so hurts, and fell like killing myself. Children don't know how to escape, or even don't know what is or going to happening to them.

and, they are sold to someone, it might be overseas, by some their business. It ca make lots of money, very profitable by someone, but they cannot use children as a thing. they are human as us, they have a right to study, play, or something they want to. they are not toy or something like that. The government have to do something to help the children, and solve the problem.

Human trafficking is the action that some people do business in trade people by illegal. It looks like far away from our daily life. But in the worldwide, this phenomenon still exists and it influences the people’s livelihood in some areas.

At today’s society, the human trafficking is almost happening in everywhere around the world. In some areas, there are many people who are very poverty. They usually have more than two children, but they just can raise one to two children. So they only can sell their others children to human traffickers for a little money. Moreover, some people request to use the death penalty for human traffickers and purchaser of the same crime. But some people oppose, it will bring dangerous to victim, the death penalty is not a solution to the problem. However, what are the problems we face? Now, we should think about why human trafficking is more and more serious? Is it because of human traffickers or police and government system? Actually, we all know that human trafficking only happening in common family. If it happens in high level government officials, they will use their large social resources to find back their children. But as a common people, we can not do that. So the human trafficker is be killed or is not be killed, it does not matter. It is important that we can get powerful help from the social resources when we need help.

Human trafficking is the global second major criminal industry. I think the government should pay more attention to this problem and give rigorous hit to human traffickers.

Transgender

Introduction

Today, Transgender is very known in different countries,
like China, Nigeria, Japan, Thailand etc..

The word transgender is an umbrella word which is made up of
a male or a female. And, we have our own problems about transgender in each
countries. Today we are going to look some various aspect like the society, heredity, and the solution or support of Transgender in each countries.

Body

How is our countries’ Transgender going on now?

China : My country
don’t have many transgender but we have a very famous transgender and she is a
dancer and lecturer. She has own reality show and encourage many youngers to
work hard. So, Most of them are like normal people without discrimination.

Japan: There is surely transgender in my country , but not so famous or popular, compare to other
countries like Thailand. I focus on in terms of workplace. And, according to
the questionnaire about LGBT &wokplace emvironment, Transgender people exist every kind of work
places. But in the questionair, so many of them answerd negative opinions. That
is because of my country don’t have specific support or positive law in japan.

Thailand: Nowadays in my country ‘Transgender’ it’s
very famous and still getting higher
number of that. Because in my country they’re except transgender and support
all of them, there’re contest , challenge , reality shows etc. maybe because of
this that why make the number of them more high and higher.

Nigeria:I will be speaking about the society aspect of
transgender.in my country we dont have much on transgender issues.
There are different aspect of it in the society like the segregation in the
labour market. And also the indiscrimination among women in the society. like
are paid less for work. So today transgender has been since and know in many
countries but in Africa it can be less
than 0% of it. Transgender also have a symbol and flag to be known or seen.

Is there any specific
support of Transgender in each countries?

China: My country don’t have any support of Transgender from
government.

Japan: My country don’t have any specific support from the
government officially, but some companies have support for it. The company
“IBM” have the support called IBM partner program. If you’re transgender and
get the job there, and when you want to marry with the same gender person, the
company helps you about insurance, and so on. The reason why the company is
helping these people is that they want
to get rid of the discrimination about transgender.

Thailand: My country most of people , company , and
society support them and in the same
time some of transgender they’re can choose a gender on their ID card and in
Thailand we’re treat them nicely
like a normal and they can have a same equality same with other people .

Nigeria: My county don’t have any support .

Conclusion: What can we divide to the causes of this issue
is 4 major factors which is biological causes, however, environment causes,
psychology causes, and cultural causes. We have different situation, problem,
it depends on our society. The environment most indiscriminate this act of
transgender. For some culture is a taboo for a male to wear dress and behave
like a female. But in the same time in other country they are except and
support it because they’re give them the same equality and also the transgender
make many the reputation to their country.

Hi everyone.

We are nearing our end of October 2015 intake.

Only eight of us in the class and I am really glad to have you as my students. Eight weeks; too short of time for me to get to know each of you. Nonetheless, I hope you had a great time.

Sometimes. the lessons were too dry that you will fall to sleep. Few times I caught the glimpse of Risa, Miko, Ding Yuen Chen and Godwin closed their eyes for awhile, hoping to get more sleep in the air-conditioned classroom.

Other times, the class will be filled with positive energy that I could barely control each of you. Every one wants to talk and participate. Well, that was good.

Okay, I'll go round the table. Here are my observation throughout the eight weeks.

Jason.

It is good to see you have improved a lot ever since. You were in my Level 3 and Level 4 class. You used to stutter a lot when it comes to presentation. Yet this time around, you are much more calm and composed. Your individual presentation was good and well-prepared. However, there is one thing I noticed about you. You depend too much on your mobile phone. Every time we did exercises and practices in class, you will tend to check meanings all the time (though I know sometimes you were chatting with your friends via mobile phone. Gotcha!) Haaa and one more thing, please be punctual. If you join the BA programme next year, do not come late to class. It is not ethical. Okay, not going to say much, my advice; be punctual and try not to depend too much on your mobile ya. Hope you could strive your best for the final exam. Well-done.

Miko

You are a very bright student. Your individual presentation was excellent. The slides were well-organized and you seemed to be well-prepared (though I saw your hands were a little bit shaky due to nervousness Lol). Your padlet reviews were equally good too. I can see you have a lot of ideas. However, I wish to hear you speak out your mind more. Sometimes, I could read from your face that you wanted to comment on the topics we discussed in class yet hesitated to do so. Most probably you are a little shy but you could always try. I do hope your short stay in Malaysia could somehow increase your self-confidence in pouring out your ideas and points. Anyway, who cares if the ideas are crazy. That is why we called it ideas. Great ideas can turn to great reality tho!

Asry
Haaa..Asry, you started off good but somehow along the way, I do not know what went wrong, you started to miss classes. Do you have any problem? or you are not interested in my class? or is English too difficult for you? I wish I could help you more. My advice to you, please consider to improve your English as it is Lingua Franca. If you could speak and write English well, you can land a good job in the future. This could change your life and family's. I am so sorry that I have to barred you from the exam. This is because in IEP, if you missed 3 sessions, you will not be given the certificate. Plus, you have already missed your Individual Presentation and Group Discussion. There goes your 40%. Sorry. But you might have to repeat Level 4 next intake (January 2016)

Megumi
First and foremost, I like your smile. Very cute. Megumi that I know for the past 8 weeks is a bit blurred yet hard working. I like the effort you have throughout the intake. Sometimes, I know you struggled a lot when it comes to getting your ideas checked (most probably due to lack of vocabulary) yet you never give up and always try your best to speak out your mind. It is a really good sign. Your listening skill is good too. Many times you could answer quite well listening practices we did in class whilst everyone seemed have answered wrongly. Keep up the good job, Megumi. Hope whatever you have learned in class will be of good for you in the near future.

Risa
Risa-chan. I like your bun (hair)! Overall, you did well in both presentations. Like Miko, you have a lot of ideas and always like to participate in class activities. It is nice to see whenever I asked for a volunteer to read a text, you are among those who will raise your hand. Although sometimes you are a little sleepy in class, it is funny to see you struggling to stay awake and follow the lessons. lol. I wish you all the best in your undertakings. Make sure you always 'top up' your vocabulary bank via extra readings.

Maryam
Like Jason, I could see your self-confidence in using English as a medium of communication has improved. You were calm and collected during the individual presentation compared to the last intake. The thing I like about you is that, you like to participate in class activities and the fact that you never give up to try Level 4 again. However, my worry is that do not forget to use English when you are back to your hometown. Krabi is one of the tourist attractions in Thailand. Surely you have many opportunities to practice your English. Just remember, language equals to skill. If you do not use it often, it will slowly fade away.

Ding Yuechen
I would say you and Jason are twins. Always together even late to class (please do not be late anymore. Not in your university course in the future) You are a moderate user of English. Just that you are way to shy to speak up. I guess you need to brush up on your self-confidence so you could speak louder and clearer. Do not be afraid of making mistake when you speak. Well, people including me, do make mistakes whenever we speak because speaking comes straight from your mind. Hence, we are prone to stutter or slip of tongue. Often, you have the ideas, but you tend to speak softly hence people could not grasp what you were saying. Whenever you do your presentation, I wish I have the sound amplifier so I could make your voice louder. lol. One more, please not depend too much on the mobile phone for meanings. Try to guess the meanings based on the context of the sentence (I caught you play with your phones few times too). Sometimes, the meaning that you have in your mobile dictionary are direct translation and might completely wrong when applied to tyhe sentence. Anyway, always practice speaking English with your friends. You could spare an hour a day to read out loud to improve your pronunciation and voice tone. With hard work, anything is possible.

Godwin
Your English proficiency is exceptionally good. Your individual presentation was good and well-prepared. You do like to participate plus contribute a lot of great ideas to the class. However, I wish you could give your friends a chance to speak up too. lol. The thing with your friends is, they know you can present well, hence will choose you to present. Next time, my advice is let them do the talking so they won't bully you. lol And one more thing, be punctual. I would say, when it comes to punctuality, you, Jason and Ding Yuechen are triplets of different mothers. Anyhow, it is good to have you in class with your antics. You enlightened the class atmosphere hence made it lively. Even when you sit there at the back silently, you can still make us laugh and smile. I wish you all the best in your future undertakings. Keep up the good job.

-------------

Group presentation.

Honestly, both groups did well in the presentation last Monday. I amactually very happy to see each of you wrk hard for your session. I can see the effort throughout your presentation. Both topics are equally interesting. I bet your friends have learned a lot from both presentations. However, there are few things I would like to highlight abt it.

1) Megumi, Risa and Jason: Well done. It was an excellent job. I like your presentation very much. Very informative and well-prepared. The slides and flow of ideas were well-connected. Only when it comes to the explanation, I think you need to provide a more concrete examples. Your topic was about education and disability children. Some of your friends might be new to the issue. So, they might find it quite dry. You may want to include audiovisual like videos, pictures. Overall, should give a pat at your back. Good job!

2) Godwin, Maryam, Miko and Ding Yuechen: I like your topic a lot. In fact, everyone did enjoy your presentation. The topic really interest people as questions kept on pouring over to your group. However, I personally would say that your presentation was pretty much a hassle. It seemed to be last minute work as I barely can see team work between each of you. Turn-taking was not there. At one point, everyone seemed to be talking at the same time. Ding Yuechen, you should make your voice louder. Miko and Maryam's were okay. Godwin, being emotional was not good as it was just a knowledge-sharing session. The topic was on transgendered, but there you were talking about gender discrimination which was totally misleading. Though gender discrimination does contribute to the ongoing issue of LGBT, but the highlight should be on Transgendered in Nigeria, not the segregation of gender.

Everyone, it was a good try tho. Do not feel upset with my comments nor dwell in it for a long time. This long list is the observation I did throughout the entire 8 weeks. After all, we are all human. And being human, life is a life-long learning. Even I myself, being a teacher, I constantly learn from my students.

Cheer up guys!
You are still young and have great days ahead of you. I believe, there is always a room for improvement for all of us. We could be a better person day by day.

The question is, are you ready?

:)
