Grows: It is hard for a teacher to be zone zero in the hall (but the kids are doing really well in my class). I feel that positive, specific feedback is the most helpful for maintaining the colt character guidelines in all zones (which requires you to talk!)

Some of my students are certainly challenged by Zone 0 in the hall, and zone 1 in the bathroom, but they are challenged by talking in general. Grow: Remaining at a zone 0 when I am wanting to tell another teacher something. They are excited when someone is chosen from our class to go down to the office (even if it's not their ticket that was chosen). They are even excited to see the hundreds board every time we walk by to see whose name has been added.

Grow: I have become more relaxed on being zone 0 for myself. I think it's important for students to receive praise/feedback in the hallway, and it's not always as easy to give that silently. I've noticed that as the semester went on that they were more comfortable to talk in the hallways. 
I will be more focused on not talking when I go down the hall. I will be honest...its very hard for me to pass someone and not say hello or how are you as we pass.
