In this theme, our emphasis was on distinguishing between healthy and unhealthy food choices. During the "sorting out" activity, students depicted these choices on templates representing happy and sad teeth. Additionally, during the "going further" segment, students enjoyed preparing fruit smoothies at home. Overall, our activities comprehensively addressed the intended learning outcomes. Looking ahead, a suggestion for future iterations would be to broaden the scope of the "health" theme beyond nutrition alone, as focusing solely on food could potentially become repetitive over time.

Such activities inspired our students to reflect on themselves and the way they prefer to express themselves. The activities were mostly suitable for our theme's objectives. However, as a project, students can be guided to make something more personalized and special to themselves rather than the current activity. The current project is a task ( writing a fact card about a famous person) that can be done in previous steps and the last task can be something that requires an authentic production.

The "Where We Are In Time and Place" was a fun and effective unit for the students as students developed their research skills and thinking skills while developing their communication skills. Students had a chance to look back at inventions and inquire before and after. They explored many inventions and how they have been evolved till this time. They created their own inventions as well as lots of group work while developing their creativity. We learnt about the clock theme and students were able to tell the time. Overall it was an effective unit.

In this Unit the students learned about different types of ways to tell time. They learned about and discussed in description their own living environment. They grasped the idea of the importance of taking care of their environment. They learned and understood and gave their own ideas of why time is important and how we use time in our daily life. They were very engaging when going on a campus tour which was very exciting for them to discover new signs and the meanings of signs we see in our environment.

During this theme "How The World Works", we focused on occupations as students became aware that all the people in our lives play a role. We inquired into occupations of the close people around us and then went for a tour around the school to see the roles of the people around us. Studentd developed their communication and thinking skills as they worked together and individually. Overall, students enjoyed the unit and teachers enjoyed implementing.

The "How the World Works" theme was effectively implemented, promoting the learner profiles of being knowledgeable, principled, and reflective. Students engaged in various activities, including studying Turkey's geography, identifying regional problems, conducting in-depth investigations, and developing solution suggestions. These activities helped students explore the key concepts of responsibility, causation, and function, and understand the relationship between landforms, human activities, and regional issues.

"Sharing The Planet" was one of our favourite units by students and teachers while implementing. We inquired into the things (living and non-living) that we share our planet with. We did a mindmap as a class developing our thinking and research skills and then did our own mindmaps later presenting them to our class mate. Meanwhile students developed their presentation skills as well as self-confidence. They were aware that we all have responsibilities to the nature and that we need to take care demonstrating the IB Learner Profile Attributes. This unit was effective for both students and teachers implementing it. We could add in more craft activities as English Teachers.

Its was an interesting topic for the students to get into but for some of the sources of energy we inquired about, we think our resources were a little limited resulting in less of a in depth inquiry. Tha activities about light energy and wind energy were enticing to the students and attracted their attention and aided them into understanding the energy needs for living. They were able to diffentiate the concept of living and non living things. The activities were suitable and enjoyable for the students.

In this unit , the kids explored different cultures through videos and books and cultural festivities. The students understood how different cultures have a role in our lives and through our cultural differences we have different perspectives and and responsibilities when facing these cultural differences.

This unit was a great start for the beginning of the new school year. Through this unit, the students engaged in activities that improves their communication skills and make them be aware of living things around themselves and different ways to communicate with them. Line of inquiries and the activities were age-appropriate and thanks to them, the students were able to form a peaceful and respectful classroom environment by creating their own rules. The only challenging part of the unit was to make students comprehend the concept of "peace". There might be a need to add more activities regarding this concept.

For this Unit the students were exposed to a variety of games and through playing and dıscussing the different parts of the games they were able to grasp the idea that games are a tool for learning. After plating some games inquiries were made about the differences in how we play the games and the roles they all hadin the games. They were able to strengthen their communication skills and were urged to create new games which supported their self management skills while working in groups and discussing their rights and responsibilities while playing the games. Their behavioral skills and social skills were observed during the action they took when coming up for rules for a game and how that game taught them something.

The activities implemented has led to the recognition of being healthy and how to manage a healthy life. The activities were quite rich and various; that's why, the students were able to develop different skills such as creativity, critical thinking, collaboration and communication.

This unit had a significant importance in terms of students' social and emotional development. Besides, the students were quite interested in this unit and they enjoyed the journey of exploring and sharing their feelings and ideas. In addition to expressing themselves, they also began showing more emphaty towards other people and developed their problem-solving skills. The activities served the purpose of acknowledging the line of inquiries set for this unit. Overall, it has been an effective and fruitful unit.

Throughout this unit, students had a chance to have an inquiry in human development. Since their age group, they really enjoyed exploring the differences between babyhood and childhood. They had fun in sharing their own experiences and joined all the activities with enthusiasm. In addition to human development, they also explored the concept of growth regarding other living things such as animals and plants.
