With our teacher's help，we figured out the definition of EAP and the main differences between it and IELTS.
I really found EAP a hard work which involves more academic vocabulary and more skills to learn in different aspects. If we say IELTS tends to assess students' level of using English，then EAP tends to help us prepare for our further study. And I understood that learning it well would absolutely lay a solid foundation for us to study and get used to the life in the university，which is the most important and significant difference from IELTS in my view.
I'm chuffed to start my journey of learning with such a group of exceptional classmates and our helpful teacher and I believe I won 't get disappointing grades in this crucial sub

The biggest difference is that EAP is more academic and professional. It includes grades for both coursework and examinations, and also it encourages collaboration by pair work and group work. The most important thing is that it can develop learner independence and autonomy. In a word, it is able to help us improve our comprehensive English

I also learned that although the class was “relaxing” and the teacher is really nice, it’s NOT easy and we should work hard on it no matter what scores did we get in IELTS. I was also really pleasant to hear” there’s no wrong answer “because that means every opinion is being respected. The lesson helped me understand what makes up our final grades, thus I can make goals for myself. Actually I was trying to get into RCS class because I got good grades in IELTS, but now I think EAP is the best place for me. I believe i can make progress every day.
