This photo is iconic because the photographer, Neil Leifer, was sitting in the right place at the right time. Ali stood towering over Liston after taking a hook to the chin, yelling "get up and fight, sucker"! 

I chose this photo because Ali was 11 years younger than Liston, so it was an upset.
