In the movie UP, the main character Carl’s wife passes away, and he doesn’t know what to do with his life after. This causes him to remember a pact he had with his wife and he takes into his own liberty to “move” his house to Paradise Falls. The movie Pocahontas represents Transcendentalism with the Importance of Nature. Throughout the movie, nature is aiding Pocahontas through her journey. There is a character that stands in for a mother figure in her life that is a tree, who helps her find herself and John Smith. This quote relates to the movie because when it speaks about the woods being youthful and where sanctity reigns, this relates to the images in Pocahontas of god being portrayed through the earth, wind, and rivers.

One of Spider-man's special abilities is his "spider senses" which he intuitively reacts to without understanding the situation. He acts simply on a gut-feeling rather than reasoning/thinking out how to handle the situation.
