The leaders of the Qin Dynasty wanted to do many things at once, like building the Great Wall, and they made some rules that made people unhappy. They tried to control everything in a strict way, and this caused a lot of problems. People felt unhappy, and there were even rebellions.

Because of all these issues, the Qin Dynasty fell apart. After it crumbled, there was a big fight among powerful leaders to decide who would be in charge next. One of these leaders was Liu Bang. He was a strong and clever guy. After a fierce battle, Liu Bang emerged victorious, and he decided to start a brand new dynasty, calling it the Han Dynasty.

Liu Bang was different from the leaders of the Qin Dynasty. He listened to what the people wanted and didn't make strict rules that caused trouble. By creating the Han Dynasty, Liu Bang brought a fresh start to China. This period is often seen as a golden age because under the Han Dynasty, people were happier, and there were many new inventions and beautiful art works. This had a profound impact on governance, promoting moral values, social harmony, and a focus on ethical leadership.

Decentralization of Power: Recognizing the challenges of centralization experienced under the Qin Dynasty, Emperor Gaozu implemented new laws that allowed local governments more self-control. These uprisings played a big part in bringing down the Xin Dynasty, showing that Wang Mang's efforts to bring stability didn't work out.

In 23 CE, Liu Xuan, a descendant of the Han imperial family, led a successful rebellion against Wang Mang's rule.
